Using the Skill to Immobilize Targets
Inva's "Chronos Lock" skill shoots a spiraling circle forward. Any enemies hit by it are temporarily paralyzed.
Freeze Duration Varies by Enemy Strength
| Enemy Type | Stop Duration |
|---|---|
| Most Grunt Enemies | Approx. 5 sec |
| Dreamseeker | Approx. 3 sec |
| Nocent Dreamcraver | Approx. 4 sec |
| Gomamusha | Approx. 2 sec |
| Berserk Mironette | Approx. 2 sec |
| Training Area Bot | Approx. 2 sec |
Keep in mind that "Chronos Lock" has a varying crowd-control duration based on enemy tier. Bosses will break free of the time-stop very quickly, so unleash your high-damage combos without delay.
Destroying the Exoskeleton Cancels the Effect
Be aware that destroying an enemy's Exoskeleton while they are frozen will instantly end the time-stop effect.
Breaks Through Enemy Guards
Using the Skill against a guarding Humanoid or Yotsuyama will break their Guard while freezing them at the same time, letting you attack safely without being countered.
Furthermore, when a Lurky Type protects its face with its doors, stopping its movement with this Skill allows your attacks to pierce through and deal damage.
Expand Your Reach with the 3-Way Split Upgrade
Once you unlock the Skill Upgrade via Mastery, the spiraling circle fires forward in three separate directions. This wide spread makes locking down groups of enemies effortless, giving you a massive tactical advantage.
Grouping Targets for a Devastating Deathblow Combo
You can stop multiple grouped enemies at once if they touch the circle—a tactic made even more effective by the Skill Upgrade.
Once they are immobilized, wipe them out using wide-area skills like the Katana's Deathblow or the Metal Whip.
