Plasma Laser - Basic Info

The Plasma Laser is a ranged weapon. Both its Normal Attack and Deathblow both fire straight ahead, but keep in mind that you are locked in place while firing, so be careful.
Because it struggles in close-quarters combat, pairing it with a melee sub-weapon like a Katana, Wheel Blade, Arm, or Hammer is highly recommended.
Plasma Laser - Strengths and Weaknesses
How to Use the Plasma Laser
The Plasma Laser’s core strength lies in safe, mid-range pressure. Utilize Bushes for sneak attacks before enemies notice you, or use its range to zone out slow-moving targets.
Plasma Laser Normal Attack
The Plasma Laser’s range scales based on your charge time. Firing instantly results in a weak, short-range shot, so it is best to always hold down the button to unleash its powerful long-range attack
Aim Can Be Adjusted via Camera During Charge
While charging, you can freely adjust the crosshairs by moving the camera in any direction.
Fire When the Red Target Marker Appears

Firing while the red marker is visible around the crosshairs guarantees your attack connects. Treat the marker as a cue to fine-tune your aiming position and tracking distance.
Plasma Laser's Max Charge Attack
The Plasma Laser has 3 stages of charge. Keep an eye on the converging blue rings around the weapon, as each one indicates a level increase. Firing at maximum charge unleashes devastating damage and reaches the full distance shown in the video.
Dodge Cancel Only Available at Max Charge
You cannot use a Dodge to cancel a Normal Attack charge until it is full. Be highly mindful of your surroundings, as you will be vulnerable to nearby threats while charging.
Plasma Laser's Deathblow
Unleashes a steady laser stream for about 2 seconds, capping out at 8 hits. You can still adjust your aim up, down, left, and right using the camera while firing. Because each hit forces enemies to flinch, trapping them against a wall or attacking from point-blank range is the best way to land every hit.
Plasma Laser's Counterattack
Instead of firing a laser, the Counterattack is a simple physical swing of the weapon. Its damage output is very low, so it's best to swap and Counterattack with your secondary weapon instead.
