Dekotora - Strengths and Weaknesses
How to Use the Dekotora
The Dekotora's Normal Attack, Charge Attack, and Deathblow all lunge forward while attacking. Since they all have a slow startup speed, it's recommended to attack from a slight distance away from enemies. It's easier to fight if you equip a fast-attacking Weapon in your other hand, such as the Wheel Blade or Magnetic Staff.
Dekotora's Normal Attack
After slamming the Dekotora on the ground, it dashes forward to attack. The attack is a bit slow to come out, so when an enemy is attacking, Guard or evade before landing a Normal Attack.
Dekotora's Charge Attack
Holding the attack button performs a charge attack. When a circular effect appears, the charge level increases by one, and you can charge up to a maximum of 3 levels. The Damage and travel distance increase according to the charge level. It takes about 3 seconds to reach a 3-level charge, so use Bushes or charge while the enemy is unaware of you to land the attack.
Dekotora's Deathblow
Ride the Dekotora and continuously charge at high speed to deal consecutive Damage for up to 5 hits. Locking on to an enemy makes it easier to land all 5 hits. When surrounded by multiple enemies, it is also possible to make a high-speed escape by using a Deathblow without locking on.
Dekotora Counterattack
Quickly moves the Dekotora forward to unleash a counterattack.
