How to Escape from Enemies
Hide in Bushes to Escape Enemies

Enemies that spot you will relentlessly pursue you, even if you create distance using Dash, making them difficult to escape. In these situations, hide in bushes to break their line of sight and reset the encounter.
Defeat Enemies Along the Way
When escaping an enemy, mindlessly Dashing away can cause you to alert other enemies, creating a dangerous chain reaction. Whenever possible, defeat nearby enemies during your exploration and retreat along cleared paths to ensure a safer escape.
Hide Using Milene's Skill

Using Milene's 'Stealth' Skill causes enemies to lose sight of you for the duration of the effect, even if they are directly in front of you. The skill lasts 10 seconds, or up to 20 seconds when upgraded, giving you enough time to create distance. After the effect ends, continue moving while crouched to significantly increase your chances of escaping unseen.

Disengage by Creating Distance

Enemies such as Lurky Hollow, which summons a Rotting Carcass behind it to block escape routes, as well as Humanoid and Tormented Toll guarding the Judgment Gate, generally do not stray far from their positions. If you're close to being defeated, creating distance from these enemies is often enough to disengage safely.

How to Escape from Raiders
Keep Your Distance Early
If you want to escape or avoid fighting other Raiders, the best approach is to avoid getting close in the first place. While exploring, regularly check Raider positions using SP Radar and stay alert to your surroundings to prevent situations where you’re forced to flee.
Crouch and Hide in the Bushes

While hiding in bushes, you won't be detected by other Raiders' SP Radars. Visibility inside bushes is also very low, and crouching further reduces your chance of being spotted. If you sense another Raider nearby, hide in the bushes and wait for them to pass to avoid confrontation.
Use Milene's Stealth

Using the Stealth skill of Milene renders you invisible for 10 seconds (20 seconds with a Skill Upgrade) and prevents detection by SP Radars, making it ideal for avoiding other Raiders.
Show Friendly Intent with Emotes

Not all Raiders are looking for a fight. If another Raider repeatedly jumps, crouches, or uses emotes, it often signals friendly intent. When encountering another Raider, try responding with a jump or emote to gauge whether they want to engage or avoid combat.
You Might Still Be Attacked
Even if you Jump, repeatedly Crouch, or use Emotes, you can't avoid combat if the other Raider is determined to attack. If they engage, be ready to either escape immediately or fight back.
How to Find Other Raiders' Positions
4 Ways to Find a Raider's Position
- Use the SP Radar
- Listen Carefully to Your Surroundings
- Be Cautious If You Find Enemy Drops
- Use Patrick's Scan
Use the methods above to locate Raiders in advance and keep your distance to avoid unnecessary encounters.
Use the SP Radar

When another Raider enters a certain range, the SP Radar will react with a thick, flashing red indicator pointing in the Raider's direction. If you want to avoid combat, use the SP Radar to track the Raider's movement and adjust your route to keep your distance.
Listen Carefully to Your Surroundings
By carefully listening to ambient sounds, you can detect nearby combat. If it isn't you, it’s likely either a Yotsuyama fighting Yuckies or another Raider in the area. When another Raider is present, you can often identify their equipped Body by the distinct characteristics of their voice.
Be Cautious If You Find Enemy Drops

If you spot trash bags or Yuckie drop bags along your route, it indicates that another Raider has already cleared the area. When you see these signs, stay alert, use the SP Radar, listen for nearby sounds, and carefully scan your surroundings to avoid unexpected encounters.
Use Patrick's Scan

With Patrick's Body, unlocking the Skill Upgrade in his Mastery allows Scan to reveal nearby Raiders for about 5 seconds. The skill has a short 20-second cooldown, making it easy to use repeatedly. If the SP Radar or nearby sounds suggest another Raider is close, use Scan to accurately pinpoint their location.
Useful Gear and Cores for Escaping
Equip Feet with +Movement Speed

Equipping Feet gear with an initial 'Movement Speed +X%' perk greatly improves your ability to escape enemies and other Raiders. Among these, Rockin’Billy Shoes are highly recommended, they provide +10% Movement Speed, can be equipped from Body Rank 2, and are Rarity: Rare. Prioritize registering their Blueprint as soon as you obtain it.
Equip a Core That Allows Climbing

If you equip a Core that allows you to 'Climb Special Areas', you can scale locations with Springcaps. Enemies cannot follow you, and other Raiders will also be unable to climb unless they have the same Core equipped, making it a strong option for escape routes.
Equip an SP Radar Invisibility Core

If you equip a Core with the 'Always invisible to Radar' perk, other Raiders will be unable to detect you even when using their SP Radar. This makes it an effective option for avoiding unwanted Raider encounters and PvP combat.
