Confringo Mastery will be effective when the Spell's talent has been unlocked. This will damage other enemies than the one that has been hit with Confringo, so it is useful when there are several enemies around.

Very Effective Against Spiders And Inferius
Spiders and Inferius are weak against Fire Spells. Confringo is a Fire based Spell so it can attack with great damage.
Useful For Puzzles That Are Far Away
There are a lot of puzzles where you will need to light fire to, but if they are far away, Incendio willl not reach. Confringo can reach a longer distance, so it is recommended to use when the puzzle is far way to unlock it.

Light Up To Move Devices
There are big devices inside the Dungeons which can be moved by lighting up the wood with Confringo.
Used In Puzzle To Open Doors
The puzzle in the video, is where you will put a Fire Marked block on top of the Fire Mark location and an Ice Mark block on top of the Ice Mark location. Just placing them there will not open the doors, but you must cast a relevant spell on them. For the Fire block you can cast Confringo to complete the puzzle. (In the video, Incendio is being used)
Can Destroy Spider Webs And Rocks
Roads can be blocked by Spider Webs and Rocks, which Confringo is very useful.
Burn Vines
The vine type plants that are in Ruins or inside caves can give you damage when you touch them. If you burn them with Confringo, then the vines will retreat for a period of time so you can get through.
How To Learn Confringo
Unlocked In "In The Shadow Of The Undercroft"
Confringo is receivable in the Main Quest "In the Shadow of the Undercroft". If you progress in the story, then you will receive it, but the quest requirement Level is 8. Even if the quest is avaiable, but your level is low, then you must raise your level. Main Story Walkthrough Guide
