Sandworm Battle
In the 8th area of "Operation: Saving Wolf Platoon!", the Sandworm and Sandworm's Nest will appear. This is a difficult part of the early game, so make sure to understand the enemies' characteristics.
Destroy the Sandworm's Nest First
From the Sandworm's Nest, new Sandworm will spawn. If left alone, the battle will drag on, so prioritize destroying it.

In "Operation: Saving Wolf Platoon!", Instinct-type characters are effective. Also, enemy Attacks will become more intense, so make use of durable roles such as Vanguards.

This is a party with Tressa as the main Attacker. With Maribell, who can apply a Shield, and Mika, who excels at Healing, you can clear this stage stably.
Strategy
Apply a Shield Before the Enemy Attacks
On turns when an enemy Attack is imminent, the HP gauge in the upper left will show that it's going to be reduced. If you know an Attack is coming, be sure to apply a Shield.
Calculate Agony Damage
Tressa not only deals damage with her Attack, but also deals additional damage from Agony. To avoid overkill, pay attention to the enemy's HP gauge.
What to Do If You Can't Win
Level Up Your Characters
Once you've reached Chapter 2, you can raise your characters to level 20. Get Manual in Simulation and first, aim to get your party characters to level 20.
Simulation SummaryAvoid Elite Areas
Strong enemies appear in the purple Elite Area. The advantage is that you can definitely get Gears, but it's best to avoid them if you're taking too much damage.
How to Proceed with Chaos ManifestationUse Safety Areas
In Safety Areas, you can recover HP and Stress. To ensure you can heal before the Sandworm battle, it's recommended to choose your route carefully.
Safe Zone GuideTrigger a Mental Breakdown Beforehand
If a tank has a Mental Breakdown during the Sandworm battle, your frontline could collapse. If a character's Stress is high, intentionally prolonging the previous battle to trigger a Mental Breakdown is one option.
