Found Placed Around The Map

Parts are upgrade items of various kinds like nuts and bolts. These can be found around the map represented by a nuts & bolts icon. These can usually be found in residential ruins or broken down machinery.

Each Cache Differs In Parts Quantity

There are multiple sources of Parts you can scavenge, from taken down guns to literal nuts & bolts. Each of these caches will provide the same Parts, but some may differ in quantity. For example, loose nuts in a can may yield 5 Parts as where a spare rifle parts may yield 10 Parts per pick up.

Limited Supply Per Game

The amount of Parts you can find in your playthrough is limited. Be sure to search cupboards, tables, and other household ruins and locations to find these items. If you wish to complete all your weapon upgrade, consider trying the New Game Plus mode.

About Parts

Used To Apply Weapon Upgrades

Used To Apply Weapon Upgradess

Parts are consumable item which can be consumed to apply upgrades of your choice to weapons you own in your inventory. You will only be able to apply weapon upgrades at a Workbench station.

Requires Tools To Apply High Tier Upgrades

Certain high tier upgrades will require not only Parts but also one or more Tools. These Tools will not be consumed upon use, and may require multiple different Tools depending on the Upgrade.

Carries Over In New Game Plus

The amount of Parts you can find in your initial playthrough is limited. You may, however, carry your Weapon Upgrades and acquired Parts to the next New Game Plus run, allowing you to complete your weapon upgrade collection.
