How To Use Listen Mode
Hold R2 To Use Listen Mode
You may engage the Listen Mode at any time you wish by simply holding down the R2 button. While in this mode, you will be slowed to a crawling/crouching speed.

You may be barred from using Listen Mode in case you have been injured with arrows. Find cover and try to pull it out and mend your wounds first.
Track Enemy Movements Through Obstacles
While using the Listen Mode, you can focus on listening to any suspicious sounds in your vicinity. Any tracked sound source will be highlighted and tracked even through walls and other obstacles.
Check Your Scent Trail To Avoid Guard Dogs
As a newly introduced function, the Listen Mode will now allow you to track your own scent trails, of which a guard dog can track and find you even while hidden. Use other ways of distraction to lure the dog out of its course when under pursuit.
