Silent But Deadly
The Bow can one-shot any soft targets and is especially useful when maintaining stealth as it makes no sound when the arrows land. Use it when you're infiltrating enemy bases to quietly eliminate targets from a distance.
Subject To Range & Damage Falloff
The arrows shot with the Bow deal lesser damage the further the target is. You should also take into account the trajectory as the arrows travel in an arc.
Pull For More Damage
Drawing the bow longer increases the damage that it deals. It may be better to look for a good spot before you pull as you will be vulnerable. Also note that moving while aiming reduces the damage of the bow!
Highly Versatile With Craftable Ammo
The Bow can be used with arrows that can easily be crafted on the fly provided that you have the necessary materials to make them. It can also use arrows with special tips such as the Explosive Arrow, allowing you to take down armored or multiple enemies.
Arrows Can Be Recovered
Arrows that have missed and those that landed headshots may be recovered. Seek them out if you're out of resources so you can reuse the arrows in future encounters.

The Bow is an unmissable weapon as you have to get it in order to proceed the story. It is found after you get attacked by a Stalker inside an abandoned garage.

You can easily craft arrows after you get the Bow. This makes it easier to go around as you can quickly rummage through resources anytime you need to take down a distant target. 2 Arrows cost 1 Binding and 1 Blade.

Recommended Upgrades
Get Draw Speed First
If used during active combat, it may take you 2 arrows to down an enemy. Best get Draw Speed first to compensate for the slow cycle times of the Bow so you can use it again quickly.
Go For Stability Next
As the Bow tends to sway, it might be a bit difficult to hit targets from afar. Get this upgrade to increase the accuracy of your shots especially during the latter chapters of Ellie.
