The Overlook Walkthrough Guide
The Overlook Walkthrough Chart

| 1 | Playing as Abby, follow Owen through the mountain |
| 2 | After the cutscene, make your way down the mountain |
| 3 | Head inside the cabin |
| 4 | Crawl through the hole in the middle of the cabin |
| 5 | Get out of the hole and head inside the next cabin |
| 6 | Take out the infected inside the cabin |
| 7 | Vault over the fence |
| 8 | Continue moving forward until you reach the horse tracks |
9. Heading Down The Mountain - Tips
An Infected Will Grab You
An infected will grab you while you explore the mountains. In order to escape the grapple, you will need to hold the button prompt that appears onscreen. Failure to do so will cause the infected to kill you.
Dodge Incoming Attacks
In the latter parts with the encounter, the infected will lunge and try to strike you. Use the L1 button to dodge. Make sure to time your dodge to avoid getting hit!
12. Crawling Through The Hole - Tips
Shoot The Runner
There will be a Runner crawling towards you in the hole. There will be a quick tutorial for you on how to use your gun during this short sequence. Aim for the head to immediately dispatch it.
13. Take Out the Infected - Tips
Use Enhanced Listening To Locate Enemies
You can pinpoint the location of enemies within an area when you use the Enhanced Listen mode. The hazy shadows will indicate their location.

It's a bad idea to face the Infected head-on given your limited ammo supply. Stay behind cover and sneak around to get close enough for silent stealth kills.
Sneak Close to Stealth Kill
Sneak around and get close enough to the infected to get a prompt to stealth kill them. This is highly recommended against these enemies since it won't alert the others to your location.
