Will There Be New Game Plus?
Chapter Select Also Available
Should you choose to revisit part of your previous adventure before reaching the ending, you can also choose to use the Chapter Select and replay select stages. Use this feature to backtrack collectibles, items and weapons, or even events you missed on your previous run.

New Game Plus is a common feature seen in the original The Last Of Us, and along with other video games. This feature is usually unlocked after beating the game, and allows you carry over few elements from your initial gameplay such as skills and weapon upgrades. Note that not all features you had initially will be carried over.

As per the original The Last Of Us' New Game Plus, you will not be able to carry over your completion of the collectibles such as Firefly Pendants and Artifacts. There is a high possibility that you will still need to look for these items again should the NG+ be implemented in the same method.
Things To Do After Beating The Game
Max Out Skill Levels
On the initial run of the game, you will most likely not be able to max out all of your skills. However, you can pick off from where you left off in the New Game Plus, and further min-max your character's skills.

In the original Last Of Us, your weapons will NOT be immediately available for you upon restarting your game. These weapons will be unlocked as it was during the initial run. However, unlocked weapon upgrades & tools will carry over upon reacquiring your weapon. From this, we can assume you can also upgrade previously untapped weapon.

It is safe to assume there will also be another batch of collectible (ie. survival guide, firefly pendant etc.) will be hidden and implemented in the game. Use your knowledge to search every nook and cranny for secret items.
Complete Achievements
Replaying certain location in the game will allow you another shot at achievements which you may have previously missed out.
