The safe is located inside a building behind the tattoo parlor in Hillcrest. You can access it by moving the dumpster and manually opening the door. You can open it with the code 30-82-65!
Guarded By Multiple Infected
Watch out as a lot of infected will charge at you once you open the door to the safe. Ready a Molotov and throw it at the doorway to easily kill the infected running towards you. Or you can shoot them down with well-placed headshots.
Clue Is Posted On The Kitchen Wall
Enter the big kitchen by going through the pet store and first draw out and clear the infected inside. Then go through the crack in the wall and into the dining hall. Then proceed into the kitchen and immediately look to your left to get the note with the code.
Auto Shop Locked Safe Rewards
Get The Short Gun Holster
Aside from a number of assorted materials and ammo, you can get the Short Gun Weapon Holster after opening the safe. The Holster increases your pistol/handgun carry slot by 1, allowing you to readily carry an additional one in battle.
