Basic But Reliable

Basic But Reliable

The Revolver is one of the first weapons in the game. It can be relied upon in certain encounters and is highly accurate from close to mid range. One important thing to consider when using this weapon is that it cannot be equipped with a suppressor.

Slow Reload Speed

Slow Reload Speed

Probably the biggest caveat in using this weapon is its reload time. Ellie has to manually load in the bullets into the cylinder, making her very vulnerable during this action. Try to measure how many bullets you need before taking action by scouting first.

Recommended Upgrades

Go For Damage First

The Revolver's slow cycle is compensated by its comparatively superb damage. Boost it further to quickly kill off even the hardiest foes!

Improve Reload Speed Next

Reload Speed is the Revolver's obvious weakness. Getting this one allows Ellie to use a speedloader to quickly load in ammo, significantly cutting the reload animation.

Stability & Fire Rate Go Last

Stability and Fire Rate are both negligible stats for the Revolver. This handgun is recommended to be used in close range, requiring no need to curtail sway. Having the damage upgrade also reduces the need for increased fire rate.
