To better experience the texture pack, turn off the clouds option. This is also recommended when using Optifine as the additional effects may blur the new sky textures.

Visible Ores is a straight-forward texture pack that only affects ores and makes them brighter. You need to have Optifine to get the full effect as having only the base texture will simply highlight the ores without the visible glow.
