Chemical Popper - Basic Info

Chemical Popper IconTeamSWAN

The Chemical Popper is a weapon that can perform a special melee attack that sets down Corruption-attribute poisonous bubbles. The poisonous bubbles explode about 3 seconds after being set, dealing major Damage to enemies caught in the blast. Its Normal Attack also comes out fast, so it can be considered a relatively easy-to-use weapon.

Chemical Popper - Strengths and Weaknesses

How to Use the Chemical Popper

The Chemical Popper's light attacks lack punch, but its exploding poison bubbles hit hard. Chain multiple attacks in enclosed spaces to stack blast damage on groups of enemies. Just stay clear of your own bubbles to avoid friendly fire.

Chemical Popper Basic Attack

A punching motion places Corruption-attribute poison bubbles on the ground. Enemies touching the bubbles take damage over time. After roughly 3 seconds, the bubbles detonate, dealing explosive damage and knocking back any enemies caught in the blast.

Spam Poison Bubbles in Narrow Corridors

Image of LET IT DIE: INFERNO

When dealing with enemies down a narrow hallway, spam standard attacks to cover the path in poison bubbles. The resulting explosions will wipe out approaching foes while allowing you to safely chip away at guarding enemies from a distance.

Chemical Popper's Deathblow

This move sprays Corruption venom across a wide area in front of you while leaping you backward to safety. After a 2-second delay, the venom detonates, dealing massive Corruption damage to nearby enemies. Because the explosion covers a larger radius and hits much harder than a normal attack, make sure to keep clear of the blast zone.

Chemical Popper Counterattack

Executing a Counterattack strikes the enemy with the Chemical Popper before immediately blasting them with venom. The melee strike and venom shot deal separate hits, with the physical hit applying a Corruption damage-over-time effect.

AoE Venom Blast

The venom shot during a Counterattack hits in a wide area of effect (AoE). Firing into a group of enemies allows you to deal direct venom damage and apply Corruption damage-over-time to multiple targets at once.
