Greatly increases DEF

Sword of Convallaria (SoC) - Dawnmoon

Equipping Dawnmoon unconditionally increases DEF, and when you use a single-target Support Class Skill, it permanently grants the [Dawnmoon Glow] buff to both the user and their target once per battle. This buff significantly increases DEF. In addition, when healing, the weapon grants a random Attribute Buff, allowing both effects to stack and drastically boost DEF.

It is especially powerful for characters who use [Assisting Cover] or have Skills that convert part of their DEF into ATK, making it a strong choice for tank-support hybrids like Ayishah.

Requires a Single-Target Support Class Skill

To activate [Dawnmoon Glow], you must use a single-target Support Class Skill. Trinket Skills or Gear Skills do not qualify. Since few characters meet this condition, its usability is somewhat limited. However, for those who do qualify, Dawnmoon offers exceptional performance.

It’s the optimal Weapon for characters like Ayishah, who does not only meet all requirements but also scales effectively with increased DEF.

Guardian's Will Comparison

Dawnmoon Guardian's Will
DEF
(Max)
Wielder: +30% (unconditional)
+25% (self & ally via [Radiance of the Dawnmoon])
+40%
(Only when Shielded)
HP - +10%
Other Gain a random Attribute Buff upon healing (while [Dawnmoon Glow] is active) Damage Taken -10%
(Only while Shielded)

A Weapon with a similar effect is Guardian's Will. For characters who can gain a Shield with a Skill—or if you have the Shield of Justice with a high Star Level—Guardian's Will is also a powerful option. However, since some of its effects disappear once the Shield is broken, Dawnmoon is generally easier to use when a single-target Support Class Skill is available, especially since it also boosts an ally’s DEF.
