Sora - Abilities List

Recommended Ability

Use "Block" Related Abilities for Survivability

In later section of the game, many of the bosses will be using hard to dodge attacks. Using the Block ability can negate the enemy attacks, and open up windows of attack with "Counter Guards".

Actions Ability List

Aerial Recovery2- Press ○ after taking damage in the air to right yourself.
Block2- Press □ to guard against frontal attacks.
Counter Slash4- Press x after a successful block to slash at nearby enemies. You can only install one reprisal ability.

Counter Impact4- Press x after a successful block to send surrounding enemies flying. You can only install one reprisal ability.

Falling Slash2- While airborne, slash downward to attack targets on the ground
Speed Slash3- Attack with 3 consecutive slashes.
<Combo finisher>
Rising Spiral3- While performing a combo, press ○ to launch enemies into the air
Unison Fire3- Team up with Donald and roast your fores.
<Combo finisher: near Donald>
Fusion Spin3- Team up with Goody and wreak havoc on surrounding enemies.
<Combo finisher: near Goofy>
Sonic Slash2- While in Flowmotion, press x to perform two consecutive slashes.
<Flowmotion Attack>
Buzz Saw2- While in Flowmotion, press x to fly at foes with a spin attack.
<Flowmotion Attack>
Somersault2- While swinging around a horizontal pole, press x to perform a spinning attack in place.
<Flowmotion Attack>
Sonic Cleave2- While in Flowmotion, press x to slash downward at foes.
<Flowmotion Attack>
Triple Rush-- Attack while approaching an enemy
Magic Rush-- Blow away all surrounding enemies with magic
- The higher your magical power, the higher the damage
Groundbreaker-- Push the enemy into the ground by pressing ○ during a combo
Focus Syphon-- A special technique that can be used when Focus is depleted
- Absorbs FOCUS point from targets locked on by attack
- When multiple targets are loaded, effect will be multiplied
Payback Strike-- Press x after a successful aerial recovery to attack toward the target with a flurry of blows.
Counter Kick-- After a successful block, press ○ to kick an enemy from a distance
- <Reprisal>
Risk Dodge-- After being blocked by an enemy, press the ○ button to dodge the incoming attack.
- Counterattack on the target by pressing ○ after dodging

Mobility Ability List

AbilityAPEffect
High Jump2- Leap high into the air. The longer you hold ○, the higher the jump.
Dodge Roll3- While grounded, tilt Left Joystick and press □ tto roll in that direction and evade attacks.
Air Slide1- While airborne, tilt Left Joystick and press □ to air dash in that direction and evade attacks. Stack the ability to increase the effect.
Aerial Dodge3- While airborne, tilt the Left Joystick and press □ to spin in that direction and evade attacks. Only works while in combat.
<Available During Combat>
Wall Kick10- Air Slide or Aerial Dodge into a wall to kick off of it and set up you next action.
<Flowmotion Maneuver
Pole Spin1- Air Slide or Air Dodge into a vertical pole or column to spin around it and knock enemies into the air

Pole Swing1Air Slide or Aerial Dodge into a horizontal pole or column to swing around it and knock enemies into the air.<Flowmotion Maneuver>
Super Jump2- While in Flowmotion, press ○ to catapult into the air.

Super Slide1- While in Flowmotion, tilt the Left Joystick and press □ to air dash a long distance.

Double Jump-- Press ○ button while jumping to perform a double jump

Support Ability List

Zero EXP0- For daring adventurers who want to play without leveling up. <Install this ability to stop gaining experience
Scan1- See the remaining HP of the targeted enemy
MP Safety0- Disable recharging when MP runs out. Only Cure magic and link commands will trigger a recharge.
Assist Friends1- Use healing items and magic on friends.
Magic Lock-On1- Automatically lock on to targets when attacking with magic.
Combo Plus4- Add one extra move to your ground combos.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect
Air Combo Plus 4- Add one extra move to your aerial combos.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect.
Combo Boost5- Increase ground combo damage in proportion to the length of the combos.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect.
Auto-Finish3- Automatically trigger the Finish command when a situation command's timer runs out in combat.
Treasure Magnet1- Automatically draw in and collect nearby prizes.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect.
Fire Boost4- Deal 20% more damage with Fire Attacks
- Stack the ability to increase the effect.
Water Boost4- Deal20% more damage with water attacks.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect.
MP Haste3- Recharge MP 10% faster when you run out.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect.
Attraction Enhancer3- Increase how often CHANCE! indicators when using attraction.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect
Damage Control4- Halve the damage you take when your HP is at 25% or below.
- Stack the ability to increase the effect.
Withstand Combo4- Always retain at least 1 HP if you are hit while you have 2 HP or more. You will remain protected throughout the enemy's combo.
Combo Master-- Even if you miss an attack, the combo meter will not reset
Leaf Bracer-- Use recover magic
- Can be activated even when being attacked by enemies
Blizzard Boost4 - Raise damage of ice attacks by
20%
- Can be stacked
Thunder Boost4- Raise damage of lightning attacks by 20%
- Can be stacked
Attraction Extender3- Can attract dropped items for a longer period
- Can be stacked

What Are Abilities?

Equippable Skills That Enhance Game Combat

Kingdom Hearts 3 All Ability List & Effects

Abilities equipped by Sora, Donald, & Goofy improve the way they battle in the game. Some abilities double Sora's Keyblade combos or boost his elemental damage when using a certain spell.

Abilities Can Be Active Or Passive

Abilities you equip can be both active and passive. Some of them need action, especially ones involving gameplay movement, while others provide passive buffs like increasing the duration of friend link attacks.

Abilities Require AP To Be Equipped

Abilities require a certain number of AP or Ability Points. If you have an insufficient amount of AP, you won't be able to equip certain abilities.

Get More AP With Accessories

Equipping certain accessories can increase the number of AP you have. This allows you to equip more abilities to be stronger & more powerful in battle.

No "how to unlock" or "Obtained by" information?? Ugh I know you can get a lot of abilities from beating flans, especially attraction extender, but there are others, and I'd like to know what other side quests give abilities as a reward for completion/high scores.
