Tip 1: Master Your Guards
Guards Protect From Damage & Break Enemy Combo
Guarding can be performed by pressing the □ button while standing still. This makes you vulnerable from the side or back, but it can break an opponent's combo and protect you from damage. Some enemy attacks can only be deflected via guards and cannot be dodged!
Tip 2: Use Link Summons In Battle
What Is A Link Summon?
A Link Summon is a skill Sora has in battle - he can call forth his friends to fight alongside him using the amulet King Mickey gave him in Olympus. If you equip the charm, you'll be able to use Link Summons in battle!

When you activate a Link Summon, it'll fill your HP bar to maximum! Through it uses your entire MP bar, having your HP bar filled to max will definitely help you in battle.
Tip 3: Eat Your Cooking
Eating Food Temporarily Boosts Stats
When you unlock Remy's restaurant in Twilight Town, you can cook your own food! Digesting food can temporarily boosts your stats. You can eat the prepared food by opening "Options" from the Options Screen.

Eating a full course of hors d'oeuvres, soup, fish dish, meat dish, and dessert will give you the "Full Course" effect. This greatly increases the status boosts you receive from the individual dishes!

If you can't seem to win in battle, try editing your shortcuts. It's best to put your healing spells & recovery items in your shortcuts so you can easily access them, allowing you to heal yourself faster.

Check your available abilities and equip those that focus on more defensive movements. Equip abilities that increase your combos or make your guards more effective.
