Belome (2nd Encounter) Strategy and Countermeasures

  • Prepare sleep countermeasures in advance
  • Be aware that characters will be copied
  • Inflict Fear status with Bowser
  • It's recommended to defeat Belome first

Prepare sleep countermeasures in advance

Belome

Belome has three types of attacks that inflict sleep. Among them, "Rainbow Bubble" and "Aurora Flash" are area-of-effect attacks that also inflict sleep, so if you don't take countermeasures, there's a risk your party could be wiped out.

Be aware that characters will be copied

Belome

He will copy characters and create fake versions of them. The abilities and moves used differ depending on the copied character, so try to form a party that won't have troublesome allies copied.

Mario + Bowser + Peach is recommended

Copied Mallow and Geno use unblockable magic attacks. This will increase the damage taken, so it's recommended to go with Mario, Bowser, and Peach.

Inflict Fear status with Bowser

Belome

Fear status is effective against Belome. Use Bowser's "Terrorize" to inflict Fear on the enemy. Additionally, Bowser's copy is weak to magic attacks and easy to defeat.

It's recommended to defeat Belome first

Fake characters will be copied again even if defeated, so it's recommended to defeat Belome first. However, if Peach is copied, she will heal, so prioritize defeating her.

Recommended Party and Equipment

Belome inflicts sleep, so counter it with Safety Badge or Safety Ring. If Peach is copied, she will heal, so defeat her first.

Flavor Text

Belome (2nd Encounter)

  1. Belome (2nd Encounter)

    I'm happy even when I'm eatin'~.

I don't know where or what he was doing,
but that Belome... or rather, Belo~me has reappeared.

Fake Mario

  1. Fake Mario

    ...

Being able to carefully observe Mario's attacks from the front,
which you usually only see from behind,
    is quite a valuable experience.

Fake Mallow

  1. Fake Mallow

Papa, Mama, where could you be~.

    Since he's a fake, he's a bit less fluffy,
doesn't cry at the drop of a hat, and of course,
he can probably go to the bathroom alone at night.

Fake Geno

  1. Fake Geno

I must collect the Star Pieces quickly!

Strictly speaking, it would be a "Fake Geno Doll," but
to put it nicely, it's a "replica of a Geno Doll," and
to put it badly, it's a "knock-off Geno Doll."

Fake Bowser

  1. Fake Bowser

    My castle~~!

His speech uses many kanji, such as "Wagahai (I, me)," "Muteki no Kuppa Gundan (Invincible Koopa Troop)," and "Gahaha (laughter),"
so it's immediately obvious that he's a fake.

Fake Peach

  1. Fake Peach

    Being beautiful is a sin, isn't it~~.

As a fake, it's very well made, so
if you left this in Mushroom Castle, the Chancellor
would undoubtedly assume Princess Peach is still there.
