What Are The Differences Between Dialogue Choices?

Content Changes Depending On Color Of The Choice

Content Changes Depending On Color Of The Choice
GoldChoice connected to the main story
BlueProvides helpful info or shows you a witty exchange between characters. You'll be sent back to the first choice screen again.

There are two types of dialogue choices you can make when speaking with NPCs. They can be distinguished by their color: Gold-colored choices will progress the main story, while blue choices will simply show you optional dialogue with the character you're speaking to.

What Happens If You Choose A Blue Answer?

After selecting a blue option, you'll of course see the branching dialogue that ensues with that character. When it ends, however, you'll simply be sent back to choice selection screen. This means you won't lose any potential story-related dialogue if you go with the blue option! Blue choices will often let you hear some interesting character-developing moments, so we recommend you don't skip out on them!

What To Do When There Are 2 Golden Choices?

Even if you get two golden dialogue choices, don't worry. The result will be the same for both of them, all that will be different is the way the character reacts to that situation. You won't have to worry about major gameplay affecting changes from this dialogue.

That being said, you won't be able to choose every option in a single playthrough. This is one of several unchangeable aspects of the game.

Other Choices Don't Have Any Major Effects

From what we've been able to see, your choice of Lifepath, the micro-level conversation choices you make, and the enemies you choose to kill or spare, will not have any influence over your game's ending! All that seems to matter is the choice in the final chapter.

Need Johny approval, and some sidequests done for some of the game endings way before that quest.
No handholding when u make a mistake so ppl pay no attention to those 5% of the dialogue where it actually matters.
