Character Creation Process
The character creation process is divided into 5 straightforward steps. There are tons of customizable options, however, so it may take some time to complete.
Lifepath Selection Precedes This
Remember, Cyberpunk 2077 will have you choose from one of three vastly different "Lifepaths" at the start of the game. That choice will precede this entire character creation process, so you'll have to make that decision first before doing any of this. Figuring out which path you will take is a huge choice that will entirely change your experience of the game, so think carefully.Check Out More On Lifepaths Here
Step 1: Birth Record
The first step of the character creation process will see you simply select the gender of your character. You will be able to choose either male or female.
Step 2: Background Check
During this part of the process, you'll have to choose 3 major events that make up your backstory. Your choices here will change parts of the game later on, so this can be considered a point of no return.
|Samurai Rockerboy: Johnny Silverhand||Solo Of Fortune: Morgan Blackhand||Corporate God: Saburo Arasaka|
|Key Life Event|
|Death of Sibling||Ran Away From Home||First Big Kill|
|Why Night City?|
|Unfinished Business||Ex-Lover in Town||Something to Prove|
It is unknown exactly what kind of an impact these choices will have on your story, so all we can do now is infer from the name of the event. Choose whichever option appeals to you the most.
Step 3: Biometric Scan
In the third phase of character creation, you'll be able to make visual adjustments to your character. It's unclear what's in the "other" tab here, but it'll likely have to do with physical aspects of your character's face (not alterable things, like clothes or piercings).
Step 4: Appearance
This next step is a continuation of the the appearance selection process. Here you'll change aspects of your character which are not as "set" or "physical", such as their clothes, makeup, and piercings. You will be able to add tattoos as well!
Step 5: Biostats
At the final stage of the creation process, you'll be able to slightly adjust your stats. You will have a given number of points which you can freely allocate to stats which you think are going to be important for you.
