What Are Upgrades?
A Way To Make Equipment Stronger
Upgrades are, as you might expect from the name, a way to make your existing gear more powerful. If you happen to have the right blueprints, materials, and cash on hand, you'll be able to improve your equippable gear.

Different Items Require Different Materials
Not all items will require the same materials - you'll have to make sure you bring the right materials for each individual piece of equipment you plan to upgrade. Also, higher rarity items will in turn require higher rarity materials to upgrade!
Types Of Required Materials

Main Benefit Is Increased Damage & Armor Values
Upgrading an item will provide benefits mainly in the form of increased weapon damage or item armor. You can also see what your post-upgrade values will look like before accepting the upgrade, so make sure to confirm the stats are all to your liking.
How To Upgrade
Select "Crafting" From The Menu
In order to access the upgrade interface, go to the menu and select the left-most button, "Crafting". You should be able to scroll down to Upgrade from there.
Select The Item You Want And Press Upgrade
Choose the item you want to upgrade from the list on the left. If you've got all the requisite materials, you'll be able to press and hold the upgrade button in the bottom right!
