Lifepath Choice
Lifepaths are a permanent decision and cannot be changed once the story starts. However, aside from the prologue (and some minor dialogue options), your Lifepath choice will not really have any influence at all on the story itself, so you don't have to worry about that.
▶Lifepath Choices GuideCharacter Creation
It is not possible to change your character's appearance again after the initial character creation phase. This means you should be very careful and take your time making a character that's to your liking.
▶Character Creation GuideAttribute Point Choice
You will not be able to reset and reallocate your Attribute points! This includes the points you'll be given to spend when you first create a character, as well as the points you earn from leveling up. Choose where you put your points very carefully!
▶Attribute Points GuidePerk Points Can Be Reset
Unlike Attribute points, Perk points can actually be reset using an item called a Tabula E-Rasa. However, this item costs 100,000 Eddies, so it's not exactly something you should be buying frequently. Exercise the same amount of care when spending your perks, though rest assured that if you really want to, you can change them.
▶How To Reset PerksSalvaging Weapons
Weapons can be disassembled (salvaged) to provide you with upgrade materials. It's better to salvage a weapon rather than just selling it off, though that does mean that you cannot get that weapon back. Take extra caution to ensure you don't salvage a Legendary or Iconic Weapon!
▶Crafting GuideStory Choices
With the exception of the ending, it's not possible to revisit major story chapters to make different choices. Take your time and see all possible dialogue options while you still can!
If you really want to see every possible choice, you do have the option of saving your game frequently before major decisions!
▶Choices GuideBoss Battles
Just like how you can't re-do parts of the story, you also cannot fight bosses again. Once you defeat Royce, for example, you can't fight him again. If you want to farm a boss for drops, you'll need to save before fighting them!
Dead Characters Don't Return
If a character dies in a certain part of the story, you won't be able to see them in your game world afterwards. There's not much you can do about this, but it's worth remembering!
