The Ripperdoc can install cybernetic prostheses and upgrade your cyberware. Upgrading cyberware provides you with a wide variety of specialized buffs.

By upgrading your eyesight, you'll be able to scan people to learn their information. The information you gain includes their profile, strengths, and many other useful information.
Identify Bounties With Scanning
A database is also added to you containing info on wanted bounties. Bringing in targets with bounties on their heads will earn you rewards, whether their dead or alive. Scan the people around you can give you an idea if there's targets to tag.
