Nuketown 84 Map Layout & Design
Nuketown 84 Map Layout
Small Symmetrical Map
Nuketown is a symmetrical map that features 2 buildings on both of its sides, bisected by 2 derelict vehicles in the middle. Players can enter the 2 buildings and use them to snipe and shoot at the other side.
Plenty Of Cover
Players can make good use of the rooms and the junk scattered around the map as cover. For players looking to cross the other side of the map, careful maneuvering between these objects is a must.
Nuketown 84 Map Tips & Tricks
Take Advantage Of Lethals
Although it features a lot of cover, Nuketown is still a compact map with constricted spaces. Lob Frags or lethals such as Molotovs and target windows or passageways to prevent enemy movement. Note that "cooking" grenades makes them explode faster, which can net you some kills!Check Out All Lethals Here!
Climb Up Using The Front Door
You do not need to enter the house or go around the back to climb to the second floor. You can use the front door awning to climb to the second floor window.
Use The Map To Level Up
With its small size, Nuketown is the perfect map to rank up and gain XP for your weapon. Play in it if you want to unlock attachments as you can quickly get kills due to the short travel distances. Better yet, take advantage of 2XP events for maximum effect!Check Out Current Double XP Events Here!
Nuketown Easter Eggs
Behead All Mannequins
In order to trigger the easter egg in Nuketown 84, you need to shoot off the heads of all mannequins in the map. There are 26 mannequins in the map and you have to do this in just under 2 minutes. If done correctly, the visuals for the remainder of the match will change.Check Out The Nuketown Easter Egg Guide Here!
Nuke Town Sign Counter
Nuke Town's sign moves and adjusts its counter depending on the number of players currently alive. Although not groundbreaking, this is a cool attention to detail by the map designers.
