| Sledgehammer | Derived from the word "slægan," meaning "to strike violently." Distributes a large amount of force over a small area and repurposed to demolish your enemies instead of dry wall | Using the Combat Knife, kill 2 or more players rapidly in 15 different matches |
| Wakizashi | Famously known as the companion sword to the Samurai's Katana. Traditionally forged using a folded steel technique. Light to wield, resilient to force, and durable to wear. | With the Combat Knife equipped, execute 2 Finishing Moves in 10 different matches. |
Melee Weapons Overview
One-Hit Kill When It Lands
Unlike the default Gunbutt melee attack, melee weapons will kill anything it touches (as long as you get close enough). Use sprint slides to get in close and mix in sidesteps when dashing towards targets.
Very Challenging Weapons
As you are literally bringing a knife into a gunfight, prepare to get decimated in mid to long-ranges if you plan on using melee weapons. Given that, getting a melee kill is already a reward on its own. Use Tacticals and map knowledge to your advantage when carrying these weapons!
Incredibly Effective In Zombies
Despite not having minimal practical application in both Warzone and Cold War multiplayer, melee weapons find their home in Zombies Mode. With these weapons, you can make short work of the undead with in-and-out tactics. You can also level up these weapons and unlock cool camos here!
