What Are Weapon Blueprints?

Weapons With Attachments & Unique Skins

Weapons with unique skins and attachments

Weapon Blueprints allow you to equip weapons with attachments and unique skins without having the need to grind XP to unlock them. If you have other attachments unlocked, you can modify the Weapon Blueprint to suit your needs.

Some Have Colored Tracer Rounds

Tracer Blueprints

Some Blueprints come with colored tracer rounds. These weapons produce a colored bullet trail when fired. Usually, these kinds of blueprints are paid ones that can be bought via the Ingame Store.

Usable In Warzone

Starting in COD Cold War's Season 1, the progression systems for both Warzone and Cold War have been directly connected. This also includes weapon blueprints, meaning both blueprints are usable in both Warzone and Cold War!

Requires Player Rank 4 To Use

Create a class

In order to be able to use Weapon Blueprints in Cold War, you have to first unlock Custom Loadouts by progressing to Rank 4.

Go To Create-A-Class To Equip

Equipping weapon blueprints

▲ There is an indicator on the number of Weapon Blueprints that you currently have

Available Weapon Blueprints can be seen via the Create-A-Class menu in multiplayer. You can access available Blueprints by selecting a weapon, then selecting the blueprint.

How To Equip In COD Cold War

1From the Main Menu, head to "Multiplayer"
2Go to the "Weapons" menu
3Select "Create-A-Class"
4Select any Custom Class
5Select a weapon with a blueprint
6If the weapon has a blueprint, you will go to another selection. Select the blueprint that you want to equip

Where To Get Weapon Blueprints

Reach Higher Prestige Levels

Grind XP levels to reach the maximum rank and get to Prestige. Upon reaching a certain Prestige / Season Level, you will get a weapon blueprint. Take advantage of 2XP events to get to Prestige faster!

Get Them From The Battle Pass

Season 1 Battle Pass

You can get the seasonal battle pass to get a good number of season-exclusive blueprints. Although need to have COD points to get the Battle Pass, there are several tiers that contain free blueprints. You can raise your Battle Pass level by getting Battle Pass XP by just playing games.

Get Them From The Ingame Store

Get Weapon Blueprints From The Ingame Store

The fastest and most certain way to get weapon blueprints is to buy them directly from the ingame store. Sometimes, you might even get a free bundle from the store so check from time to time. Take note that you need to have the COD points to get buy anything from the in-game store.

Participate In Events

Rebirth Event Blueprint

Seasonal events reward players with event-exclusive items that often times include blueprints. Take time to participate in these events to get unique and cool-looking weapons.
