Playlist Update & Events Overview (January 14)

New January 14 Playlist

Coming with the mid-season update is a new playlist. This time, we get to play around new game modes and maps. The wildly popular Nuketown, Prop Hunt, and Face Off are still on the list. New comers include the new Sanatorium map.

Playlist Updates Moved To Thursday

Previously, playlist updates and rotations were done on Tuesdays every week. Now, the playlist will change every Thursday instead.

On-Going 2XP Events

Double Weapon XP Starting On Jan 15

For those looking to level up their weapons, now is your time! From January 15 10am PT up to January 19, 10am PT, players get double the weapon XP, making it significantly faster to get attachments. Take advantage of this and level up your weapons in either Multiplayer or Zombies Mode!

Playlist Updates Are Weekly

The playlist for COD Cold War is usually updated every Thursday of every week. Fireteam on the other hand, updates its available game modes rarely. Playlists rotate weekly and some available ones may change due to fan clamor or the developers' decision.

Some Modes Are Time-Limited

There are also some weeks that offer time limited events such as tournaments or modified game modes like 3v3 Gunfight. These game modes are time-limited so if you want to enjoy them, best play during the time they are available.
