Reach Military Rank 55 First
To even begin thinking about prestige levels & earn Prestige keys, a player must earn xp and complete Military Rank 1-55 first. This will unlock all base assets in the game, and Military Rank won't reset between seasons.
How To Level Up / Rank Up Fast!Earn Prestige Keys Every 50 Season Levels
Once you've reached Prestige Rank 1, its time to start grinding Seasonal levels. With each 50 level you get, you get New Prestige Key, Icon, Sticker & Emblem for the effort.
How To Earn Prestige Key
| Steps | Requirements | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Reach Military Rank 55 | - Reach Prestige Level 1. - Get First Prestige Icon |
| 1 | 50 Season Level Unlocks | - Earn a New Prestige level. - New Prestige Key, Icon, Sticker & Emblem received |
| 2 | Reach Season Level 200 | - Become Prestige Master - May also continue to level up to 1,000 for additional keys, but not emblems & Icons |
Get A Weapon Blueprint At Some Prestige Levels
Some prestige levels will award blueprints to weapons as well, making them a valuable method to get rare or even special blueprint & cosmetics for your weapons.

Exchange For Icons In The Prestige Shops
Based on official sources, Prestige Keys allows players to trade them for a Prestige Icon at the Prestige Shop. It is mentioned that these icons will be "from previous Black Ops games that veterans should remember fondly"
Where Is Prestige Shop?
Located Under Barracks Tabs
You can find the Prestige Shop under the Barracks Tab in the progress section. Under the military rank tab, you'll find the Prestige Shop access. Note that you won't be able to access the store without a Prestige key.
