Care Package Scorestreak Overview

The Care Package Scorestreak spawns a crate that when accessed spawns a random scorestreak. This Scorestreak can then be used immediately after you pick it up. This new Scorestreak does not replace any of your equipped 3 Scorestreaks. The crate explodes after it has been activated, but deals no damage to the user.

Drop It Near Your Base
Care Packages can be stolen by enemy players. To prevent it from being stolen and your Scorestreak being used against you, have it drop on your side of the map just to be safe.
Drop When The Icon Is Yellow

The color of the grenade is an indicator that your Care Package will land on an accessible area. Do not throw it while it is red as it will still drop on that location, wasting your Care Package.
Booby Trap With Spycraft
You can use the perk Spycraft to plant a trap on your already used Care Package. Once done, the Care Package explodes when an enemy interacts with it.
Reroll With Engineer
Don't like the Scorestreak inside the Care Package? Reroll it for another random one with the Engineer Perk. To reroll, simply double press the interact button while near the Care Package. Note that you can only do this once.
Scorestreaks Remain Even When Killed
Even when downed and killed, your Scorestreak from the Care Package is still usable once you respawn. This means that you can simply carry the Scorestreak around and use it while the time is right without any worry.

On-Call Powerups & Abilities
Getting a number of kills and earning scores rewards your efforts by allowing you to use Scorestreaks. These are special abilities that you can "call" to aid you and your team on the battlefield. Some of them require direct control while some just need to be activated for them to take effect.
Scores Don't Disappear When Killed
Progress to get a Scorestreak do not disappear when you get killed. Unlike Killstreaks in previous COD titles that require you to chain multiple kills, holding objectives and other actions rewards you by filling your Scorestreak meter. Work with your team and do objectives in order to get to higher Scorestreaks!
Combo For Higher Scores
Chaining kills and doing objectives in a short period of time rewards you with a score multiplier. Score multipliers significantly increase the scores that you gain, giving you a better chance of getting those high-score Scorestreaks!
Unused Scorestreak Are Retained Even If The Player Dies
An unused Scorestreak will be retained even if the player is killed. It will be immediately available for use once you respawn. Save scorestreaks for the right timing to maximize their effects and turn the tides of battle!
