Best Weapons and Body Types
Magnetic Staff and Wheel Blade Are Recommended

When choosing a Body Type at the start of a match or when respawning after being defeated, prioritize selecting the Magnetic Staff if it's available as a Weapon. The next best option is the Wheel Blade.
The Magnetic Staff's Deathblow is Powerful

The Magnetic Staff’s Deathblow forcibly pulls in nearby enemies, creating an opening. Immediately after pulling an enemy in, you can follow up with a 3-hit Normal Attack combo. If all three hits connect, the opponent is inflicted with Judgment, enabling additional follow-up attacks once Judgment is activated.
Magnetic Staff Skills and How to Use
The Wheel Blade is Also Easy to Use

The Wheel Blade can attack from a distance with its Deathblow. It's easy to catch enemies off guard, and it has the advantage of not being counterattacked even if Guarded. Additionally, its lunge distance during Normal Attacks is long, making it easy to hit fleeing enemies.

Choosing Based on Guard Breaks is Also Recommended

If your main weapon isn’t among the available options, it’s best to choose based on Guard Break potential. Guard Break combinations such as “Fireworks Shooter / Evil Rod / Corrupted Fang” ×2, or pairing “Fireworks Shooter / Evil Rod / Corrupted Fang” with a “Hammer / Rammer / Axe,” are easy to use and effective.

For Body, Choose All-Rounder or Attacker

If multiple desired Weapon types appear, choose based on the Body Type. The All-Rounder, which has high Health and can recover Health and Rage Gauge with its Skill, is the most recommended. The next best is the Attacker, whose Dropkick is powerful in a melee.
Tips on How to Win KIL Matches
- Understand the Field
- Move Together With Your Allies
- Be Careful Not to Attack Allies - Protect Allies Aiming for the Goal
- Sacrifice Yourself if You're Not Holding the Ball - Target Enemies Aiming for the Goal
- Number of Balls Enemies Held Displays
- Steal Balls from Enemies - Defend the High Ground if at an Advantage
Understand the Field

The field layout is fixed. Goals are located at the center, as well as on the left and right sides, so make sure you understand the field’s structure. Among the target locations, the high ground opens last and always awards 4× points, while the remaining two locations randomly become 2× and 3× points each match.
Move Together With Your Allies

If you get surrounded by multiple enemies, you'll be focused down and defeated easily. Try to stick with your allies as much as possible.
Tips! | In KIL Matches, your attacks can also hit allies, so be careful not to attack them by mistake. |
|---|
Protect Allies Aiming for the Goal

While aiming for a Goal, you are defenseless for about 4 seconds. If an ally is trying to score a Goal, protect them at close range and intercept any approaching enemies.
Sacrifice Yourself if You're Not Holding the Ball
If you are not holding any balls, the disadvantage of being defeated is minimal. When an ally accessing the Goal is likely to be targeted by ranged attacks, you also have the option of acting as a shield and sacrificing yourself.
Target Enemies Aiming for the Goal

It's easy to stop a Goal by using a ranged attack with the Wheel Blade's Deathblow, or by quickly closing in and hitting them with the Katana or Bat's Deathblow or Normal Attacks. For a short time after an opponent scores a Goal, they become invincible, so be careful not to attack them during this time.
Number of Balls Enemies Held Displays

When you get close to an opponent, the number of balls they are currently holding is displayed along with their Health. Focus on targeting enemies with more balls. Also, if an ally is holding 10 balls, it's easier to score points by switching to a support role.
Steal Balls from Enemies
The basic strategy is to collect balls on the field, but if you don't have any balls yourself, it's also recommended to steal them from opponents. The risk of being defeated is low, and if you succeed, you can take the opponent's balls and aim for the Goal.
Defend the High Ground if at an Advantage

If you have a significant lead over the opposing Team in points, it's also effective to gather everyone at the 4x point high ground before the Goal opens to defend the location. If you continue to prevent the opponent from scoring, you can win the match.
