This is a beginner-friendly guide to Oberon in Fate/Grand Order (English). It breaks down what makes Oberon strong, his basic stats, skills, and Noble Phantasm, plus the Ascension and skill-up materials you'll need to raise them.

Oberon's Basic Information

Oberon's Strengths

Supporter Capable of Charging Up to 70% NP

Oberon has a teamwide 20% NP charge + single-target 50% NP charge. Since he can provide a very high total of 70% NP battery, he is one of the best NP charge supports for daily farming to high-difficulty quest clears.

Can Provide Massive Damage Support

Oberon's Skill 3 can buff 50% Buster Card effectiveness and boost NP Strength Up which doubles the effectiveness of any NP Strength Up buffs active. For this reason, Oberon is a very good damage buffer for any Attacker.

The NP Strength Up Boost is Also Effective on Craft Essences

Oberon's unique NP Strength Up Boost buff also works on NP Strength Up given by Craft Essences. This makes him highly synergistic with NP buffing CEs like "The Black Grail". When using Oberon, make sure to include a lot of NP Strength Up buffs including those from Mystic Codes (Master Uniforms) and Servants.

Tip!	Thanks to his NP Strength Up Boost, a major strength of his is that he can easily be paired with non-Buster attackers as well!

Pay Close Attention to Skill Drawbacks

* Both skills give ST buffs, so these demerits affect only the Main Attacker buffed by Oberon.

Oberon's Skill 2 "Morning Lark EX" reduces the NP gauge by 20% at the end of the turn while his Skill 3 "Ending of Dreams EX" inflicts an unremovable Eternal Slumber debuff that permanently incapacitates the target Servant. It's recommended to use Oberon's S3 when you can guarantee a quest clear.

Can Also Function as an Attacker

Oberon's Noble Phantasm (NP) deals AoE Buster damage and with his unique Class advantage, he can deal increased damage to the Three Knight classes (Saber, Archer, Lancer) and Alter Egos. In farming teams, he can handle clearing Wave 1 as a Secondary Attacker while supporting the Main Attacker. But if the enemies are mostly of Lawful alignment, Oberon himself can be used as the Main Attacker.

Tip!	His offensive class advantage multiplier is 1.5x, which is the same as Berserkers and Alter Egos.

Can Stall Enemies with His Noble Phantasm

His Noble Phantasm applies a combination of Sleep + Invincibility (1 turn) to enemies. While Sleep normally breaks when damage is taken, the accompanying Invincibility ensures that subsequent command card attacks won't deal damage, safely rendering all enemies completely unable to act for one turn.

About the "Pretender" Class

As a "Pretender" class Servant, Oberon has a full class advantage against Alter Egos. He also deals 1.5x damage to Sabers, Archers, and Lancers, while taking neutral (1x) damage from them.

Servants with Good Synergy

Compatible Attackers
	Arjuna (Alter) (★5) Deals high damage to debuffed targets. His 30% NP battery synergizes perfectly with Oberon's 70% NP charge.
	Morgan (★5) Has a 30% self NP battery, a 20% single-target NP charge, and a versatile Special Damage skill against Human attribute enemies. Since she can also deal massive damage with critical hits, Oberon's star generation is a huge help.
	Sakata Kintoki (★5) Has a 50% NP battery. As a Single-Target (ST) attacker, he's a top choice for maximizing raw damage, making him an excellent match for Oberon.
	Kukulcan (★5) Has a 50% NP battery and an inherent NP Damage buff, allowing her to massively ramp up her damage with the boost from Oberon's NP Damage buff. Furthermore, Oberon's star generation makes it easy to activate her skill enhancement on Turn 1.
	Mélusine (★5) With a Double Koyanskaya of Light and Oberon setup, she can perform a 3-turn AoE NP loop without needing a specific Craft Essence (CE). Since she has a Buster NP and an inherent NP Damage buff, she can take full advantage of Oberon's support.
	Archetype: EARTH (★5) She can use her Noble Phantasm (NP) immediately thanks to her 100% NP battery. Because she can also grant a 30% NP charge to all allies, she is highly effective not only for her own 3-turn NP looping but also in multi-attacker farming setups.
	Cú Chulainn (★3) When paired with Koyanskaya of Light and Oberon, he can perform a 3-turn NP loop. Equipping him with Black Grail allows him to deal extraordinary damage for a low-rarity Servant.
Compatible Supporters
	Koyanskaya of Light (★5) She provides a high-multiplier Buster buff and a 50% NP battery, giving her excellent synergy with Oberon. They pair incredibly well together regardless of whether Oberon is the main attacker or a supporter, making her an essential partner for him.
	Merlin (★5) A powerful Buster supporter who can provide a high-multiplier Buster buff, generate a massive amount of critical stars, and grant invincibility to the party. While his NP charge is 20% for all allies, his overall support capabilities make him a strong partner for Oberon in challenging quests.
	Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II) (★5) A supporter with multiple NP charge skills. He can provide the ATK buffs that Oberon lacks and has excellent synergy with any attacker.
	Miss Crane (★5) Her Noble Phantasm (NP) swaps her with a backline Servant, enabling a blitz strategy focused on clearing encounters with high burst damage. Oberon's NP charge and offensive buffs are valuable, and his star generation also makes it much easier to use Miss Crane's NP, making them an excellent pair.

Recommended Skill Leveling by Priority

Skill 1	Priority: ★★★ The AoE NP charge is fixed at 20%, but you can boost the multiplier of the AoE NP Strength up. Since it boosts damage, prioritize leveling it. As all skills are basically excellent, aim for Lv10 on all of them.
Skill 2	Priority: ★★★ At Lv10 the single-target NP charge becomes 50%, and the amount of Critical Stars gained also increases. It makes activating the NP easier and landing criticals easier, so level it first.
Skill 3	Priority: ★★★ It increases the multipliers of Buster Up + NP Strength up boost. Since it greatly boosts damage, level it first.
