Ashiya Douman's Strengths

An AoE Attacker Suited for Farming

Ashiya Douman's class is Alter Ego, giving him offensive advantage against Rider, Caster, and Assassin classes, and class advantage against Foreigners. Furthermore, since he has an 80% NP charge, he is particularly easy to use for farming.

Also excels at Instant-Kill farming

Ashiya Douman's Noble Phantasm inflicts Death after dealing damage, and it has a high success rate. Against Bronze enemies, he can trigger it easily. You can also inflict Death Resist Down using the Servants below to increase the chance of it triggering.

Greatly Strengthens Allies with the Evil or Chaotic Trait

With his Skill 2 and 3, Ashiya Douman can grant ATK Up and Critical Strength Up buffs to Servants with the Evil and/or Chaotic trait. If the Servant has both traits, the effects activate twice, making him a good damage support.

He also has the Evil + Chaotic Trait

Ashiya Douman also has the Evil and Chaotic traits, so he receives the ATK Up and Critical Strength Up buffs twice. While supporting allies, he can also increase his own damage, making him particularly effective in farming setups with multiple attackers.

Greatly Debuffs Enemies with his Skill 1

Ashiya Douman's Skill 1 can inflict various debuffs such as ATK Down, DEF Down, Terror, Confusion, and Curse. The DEF Down has a high multiplier, so it's great to use on high-HP enemies in wave 3 of farming quests.

Terror and Confusion are Chance-Based

Terror (1 times, 3 turns)	- 30% trigger chance. Upgradable to 40% with Skill Leveling. - Inflicts Stun on enemies to prevent actions.
Confusion (3 turns)	- 30% trigger chance. Cannot be increased with Skill Leveling. - Inflicts Skill Seal to prevent the enemy from using their Skills (cannot prevent turn-based or break bar Skills).

Terror and Confusion are chance-based debuffs that activate every turn to give a Stun or Skill Seal. Thus they are not guaranteed to prevent enemy actions.

Struggles In High-Difficulty Quests

While he can provide both Stun and Skill Seal from his Skill 1's Terror and Confusion debuffs, their activation is still chance-based and can be unreliable for high-difficulty quests. Additionally, since Ashiya Douman relies on his debuffs to increase his damage output and reduce incoming damage, this makes him weak against bosses with Debuff Immunity or a Debuff Cleanse.

Tip!	As an Alter Ego, he is ideally used in Mixed-Class quests, but the fact that he becomes much harder to use when the Three Knight Classes are mixed in is another reason he is not well-suited for High-Difficulty content.

	Larva/Tiamat (★5) As an Evil/Chaotic Servant, Tiamat benefits from Ashiya Douman's high-multiplier ATK and Critical Strength buffs. Their shared Alter Ego class makes them a natural pairing for farming, and her high damage output makes her a reliable choice for clearing the final wave.
	Sen-no-Rikyu (★5) As an Evil/Chaotic Servant, she can take full advantage of Ashiya Douman's powerful buffs, making them an excellent pair. In addition to a Quick buff, she provides a 30% NP charge and an NP Gain buff, helping Ashiya Douman use his NP more frequently. As a Berserker, she is effective against a wide range of enemies.
	Ashiya Douman (★5) Since both are Evil/Chaotic, they can buff each other, making a double Douman composition highly effective. With his 80% NP charge, he can easily use his NP on turn one, making him ideal for clearing the first or second wave.
	Sessyoin Kiara (★5) Sharing the Alter Ego class, they are suitable for the same types of quests. As an Evil/Chaotic Servant, she can fully leverage Ashiya Douman's buffs, and her high NP damage makes her a great choice for the final wave.
	Nitocris (Alter) (★5) As an Evil/Chaotic Servant, she benefits from Ashiya Douman's powerful buffs, creating strong synergy. With a 100% NP charge, she is an excellent and straightforward farming Servant.
	Sodom's Beast/Draco (★5) Since Draco is an Evil/Chaotic Servant, she benefits from Ashiya Douman's high-multiplier ATK and Critical Strength buffs. Ashiya Douman's own 80% NP charge makes him a flexible partner for various farming compositions.
	Summer Sessyoin Kiara (★5) Has the Evil trait. Ashiya Douman can apply two Mental Debuffs with his first skill, which directly boosts Summer Kiara's bonus damage.
	Francis Drake (★5) Has the Evil/Chaotic trait. She excels as a farming attacker against Caster-class enemies, and since she can generate Critical Stars with her skills, it's easy to capitalize on Ashiya Douman's Critical Strength buff.
	Shuten-Douji (★5) Has the Evil/Chaotic trait. She is a valuable farming-focused Assassin whose high NP damage makes her a reliable choice for clearing the final wave.
	Van Gogh (★5) Has the Evil/Chaotic trait. Ashiya Douman can apply a significant amount of Curse damage, which in turn greatly increases Van Gogh's NP gauge. He also provides powerful ATK and Critical Strength buffs, while Van Gogh offers the Quick support that Douman lacks, making them an excellent pair.
	Kama (★5) Has the Evil/Chaotic trait. Kama excels at generating Critical Stars but lacks a Critical Strength buff. Ashiya Douman perfectly fills this gap, making them a strong combination.
Compatible Supporters
	James Moriarity (★5) Moriarty can grant the Evil alignment to allies and provides a high-multiplier ATK buff against Evil enemies. However, their class advantages differ, so this pairing is best when one of them is used as a dedicated support.
	Scáthach-Skadi (★5) She provides a high-multiplier Quick buff, a Quick Critical Strength buff, and a 50% NP charge. She is a top-tier support for Ashiya Douman in all types of content, from farming to high-difficulty quests.
	Summer Scáthach-Skadi (★5) In addition to a high-multiplier Quick buff, she provides a 50% NP charge. Her ability to generate stars also makes critical hits more consistent. Furthermore, her Buster and Buster Critical Strength buffs enhance his Buster card damage.
	Wu Zetian (★4) An Assassin who provides both ATK and Quick buffs. She also functions well as an attacker herself, making her a good choice for a secondary damage dealer against Rider-class enemies.

Recommended Skill Leveling by Priority

Skill 1	Priority: ★★☆ In addition to ATK + DEF Down for all enemies, you can boost the Terror chance. Since it boosts damage, level it up alongside the other skills.
Skill 2	Priority: ★★☆ In addition to the AoE Evil/Chaos Critical Strength up multiplier, you can also boost your own Guts recovery amount. If you don't use critical support its priority drops, but when you do use it, it's higher priority than Skill 1.
Skill 3	Priority: ★★★ At Lv10 the NP charge becomes 80%, so with Append Skill 2 at Lv10 you can activate the NP immediately. In addition to the AoE Evil/Chaos ATK Up multiplier, you can also boost Curse damage, so level it first.
