Efficient Servant Leveling Methods

Embers of Matching Class

Prioritizing Embers that match a Servant’s class provides bonus EXP, making leveling more efficient compared to using mismatched Embers. If matching class Embers are not available, it is often better to save them for the appropriate Servant rather than using them.

Use High Rarity Embers

If available, using high rarity EXP Embers is highly recommended when leveling Servants, as they provide significantly higher EXP compared to lower rarity materials, allowing for faster and more efficient leveling.

Super & Great Success Rate x2 Event

Occasionally, Super & Great Success rate campaigns are held, increasing the chance of triggering Super or Great Success when leveling Servants. These events significantly boost EXP efficiency, making them the best time to level Servants and maximize resource value.

This section lists the number of Embers required to raise Servants of each rarity to their maximum level. Please note that these numbers do not take Great Success or Super Success into account.

How to Perform Servant Ascension

Raise the Servant to their level cap

In order to ascend a Servant, they must first reach their current level cap through enhancement. Each ascension increases the level cap, so repeated leveling and ascensions are required to fully develop a Servant.

Collect required Materials and QP

Each Ascension requires specific materials and QP, which must be gathered before a Servant can be further strengthened.

Perform Servant Ascension

Once a Servant has reached their current level cap and all required materials and QP have been gathered, Ascension can be performed through the Ascension menu.

Benefits of Ascension

Increases Level Cap

The most important way to improve your Servant's combat power is to level them up and perform Ascensions. A Servant can be ascended up to 4 times to increase their level cap.

Unlocks new skills

The 1st and 3rd Ascensions will also unlock the Servant's skills. Having all three skills available allows you to fully utilize the Servant's capabilities. (Note that some Servants need to clear a Rank Up Quest or Interlude after reaching their Final Ascension to unlock skills.)

Unlocks Rank Up Quests and Interludes

Servants can have Rank Up Quests and Interludes that provide buffs to enhance their skills or Noble Phantasm. Some of these buffs can include NP Charge effects or Special Attack modifiers that can greatly boost their performance.

Changes Illustration and Battle Sprites

Ascension stages change a Servant’s battle sprite and illustration. For most Servants, the 1st and 3rd Ascensions unlock new battle sprites. The card illustration also changes with each Ascension, and the final Ascension unlocks a unique full artwork.

Tip!	Welfare Servants do not receive battle sprite changes through Ascension.
