Arjuna (Alter)'s Strengths

A Highly Versatile Special Attack Attacker

Arjuna (Alter)'s Skill 1 gives himself a Special Attack buff against Debuffed enemies. Since his Noble Phantasm (NP) applies a Buster Card Resistance Down debuff before attacking, Arjuna (Alter) will gain increased damage as long as his NP debuff is successfully applied to the enemy.

Buster Card Resistance Shred Can Potentially Fail

Debuffs in FGO have a chance to fail to be applied depending on whether the enemy has a Debuff Resistance passive. Arjuna (Alter)'s NP debuff can potentially fail, making his damage lower since his Special Attack buff won't trigger. This makes enemies with high Debuff Resistance or Debuff Immunity harder to defeat with Arjuna (Alter).

Tip!	While his versatility is incredibly high, he is not entirely omnipotent. Especially when farming event quests, make sure to double-check whether the enemies possess Magic Resistance!

A Rare Berserker Equipped with an NP Charge

Arjuna (Alter)'s Skill 2 has a 30% NP charge at Skill Level 10. If you equip a 50% NP Charge Craft Essence (CE) on him, you'll only need a 20% NP charge elsewhere to immediately use his NP. As an AoE Berserker with an NP charge, he can be used in various farming setups.

Can Unleash Heavy Damage via Critical Hits as Well

Arjuna (Alter)'s Skill 2 also grants a C. Star Gather Rate buff (3 turns) for his Buster cards, giving him a higher chance of landing Critical hits. Since his Skill 1's Special Attack [Debuff] also affects his Card attacks, he can deal massive damage with Buster Critical hits against Debuffed enemies.

Defensive Stability Relies on Support Units

While Arjuna (Alter) can apply Guts and has HP recovery on his Skill 3, this isn't enough to ensure his survival, as Berserkers are naturally squishy. This isn't an issue in short farming quests, but in lengthy, high-difficulty battles, he can be easily knocked out, so bring defensive Supports to help.

Possesses Both Good and Evil Alignments

Arjuna (Alter) has a unique alignment where he is both Good and Evil. While it also makes him twice as vulnerable to anti-alignment attacks, it also makes him more likely to be included in alignment-specific buffs from his teammates.

	Morgan (★5) Her 50% NP charge allows for easy NP usage, and she also boosts damage with an AoE ATK Up. The Curse from her NP helps activate Arjuna Alter's Special Attack Damage. Additionally, increasing her Overcharge level boosts the multiplier for her Buster Resistance Down debuff.
	Tezcatlipoca (★5) His AoE 30% NP charge helps Arjuna Alter use his NP, and he can also contribute to damage. Since Arjuna Alter has a Guts skill, he can fully benefit from Tezcatlipoca's ATK Up.
	Chen Gong (★2) He provides a high-multiplier Buster buff and a Critical Strength buff, while also granting the party a 10% NP charge. His NP's sacrificial effect makes him an excellent choice for clearing waves 1-2 when farming.
	Paul Bunyan (★1) She provides an AoE Buster Buff and can inflict DEF Down. She also slightly increases the success rate of debuffs against enemies with resistances, such as Magic Resistance.
Compatible Supporters
	Koyanskaya of Light (★5) She provides support with a 50% NP charge, Cooldown Reduction, and powerful Buster buffs. A Double Koyanskaya of Light setup enables 3 consecutive NP uses, making her an ideal support for farming.
	Oberon (★5) He offers support with a 70% NP charge, an NP Strength buff, and a Buster buff. Not only does he enable consecutive NP uses, but he can also function as a powerful attacker.
	Merlin (★5) His 20% NP charge and high-multiplier Buster buff work very well together. In high-difficulty quests, his NP provides consistent Star Generation, HP healing, and NP regeneration, while his second skill grants AoE Invincibility to compensate for the team's fragility. His versatile kit makes him a top-tier choice for almost any party.
	Sima Yi (Reines) (★5) Her high-multiplier ATK Up and 50% NP charge are a great combination. Her NP negates defensive class disadvantage, which is a significant boon for fragile Berserkers like Arjuna Alter.
	Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II) (★5) He provides a total of 50% NP charge, and his NP can inflict a chance-based Stun, DEF Down, and an NP Gauge reduction. His AoE DEF Up helps mitigate the party's fragility, making him a versatile support for both farming and high-difficulty quests.
	Himiko (★5) She can boost Arjuna Alter's damage with ATK, Buster Performance, and Critical Damage buffs. Her Stars per Turn effect makes it easier to land critical hits. Additionally, her Overcharge Level Up skill increases the multiplier of Arjuna Alter's Buster Resistance Down, making her an excellent partner.
	Cnoc na Riabh Yaraandoo (★4) In addition to providing damage support with ATK and NP Strength buffs, she also provides a 30% NP charge to allies. Be mindful of the skill order, as her skills have demerits like Arts Card and Skill Seals. Since Arjuna Alter lacks Magic Resistance, her "My Fair Soldier" state can be reliably applied.
	Mash Kyrielight (★3-★4) She is a defensive supporter who grants DEF Up. She significantly reduces incoming damage, greatly extending the party's survivability.
	William Shakespeare (★2) He has a high-multiplier Buster buff and provides a 20% NP charge. While a more accessible version of Merlin, his low cost makes him a popular support choice for farming.

Recommended Skill Leveling by Priority

Skill 1	Priority: ★★★ It increases the multipliers of ATK + Anti-Debuff special attack. Since it greatly boosts damage, prioritize leveling it alongside Skill 2.
Skill 2	Priority: ★★★ At Lv10 the single-target NP charge becomes 30%, so combined with the 20% NP from Append Skill 2 you can activate the NP immediately with an NP 50% Craft Essence. The Buster Card star concentration also makes Buster criticals easier, so level it first.
Skill 3	Priority: ★☆☆ It increases the multipliers of Guts and HP recovery each turn, making it easier to survive. It's fine to leave unleveled for farming, but it makes fighting easier in high-difficulty quests and the story, so level it eventually.
