NP Charge Craft Essences

Starting NP Charge Craft Essences increase NP Gauge at the start of battle, allowing Noble Phantasms to be activated faster or immediately depending on the amount of charge provided.
Use Skills or Noble Phantasm Effects

There are Servants that have skills or Noble Phantasms that increase NP Gauge for themselves or allies. These effects provide immediate NP and are often required for consistent farming or multiple Noble Phantasm activations.
Tip! | The icon usually indicates an NP charge-related effect. Only a few Servants have a unique icon for their NP charge skill. |

Attack Enemies

NP Gauge increases by attacking enemies, with the amount gained affected by hit count, card type, and NP Gain modifiers. Arts cards generate the most NP among Command Card types, making them especially useful when charging Noble Phantasms. Servants with higher hit counts also tend to build NP more efficiently through normal attacks.
Gain 20% NP with an Arts Chain

Arts cards generate more NP than other Command Card types, making them the primary option when building NP Gauge. Prioritizing Arts cards can significantly reduce the number of turns needed to charge a Noble Phantasm.
Increase Gain with Overkill and Critical Hits

Overkill hits increase NP generation after an enemy’s HP reaches zero, while Critical Hits also improve NP gained from attacks. Multi-hit Servants benefit the most from these effects.
Increase with NP Gain Up or Card Performance Buffs

NP Gain Up buffs directly increase NP generated from attacks, while Card Performance buffs can further improve NP generation depending on the card type affected. Combining these effects improves overall charging efficiency.
Generates When Attacked
NP Gauge also increases when receiving attacks from enemies, allowing Servants to gradually build NP throughout the battle. Servants with higher hits taken or specific passive effects can benefit more from this source of NP generation.
How to Use Noble Phantasms and Their Types
Usable When NP Is Charged to 100% or More

Noble Phantasms can be activated once NP Gauge reaches 100% or higher. Using a Noble Phantasm consumes all stored NP, including excess charge built beyond 100%.
Offensive and Support Noble Phantasms

Noble Phantasms are broadly divided into Offensive and Support types. Offensive Noble Phantasms focus on dealing damage, while Support Noble Phantasms provide effects such as healing, buffs, debuffs, or defensive utility.
AoE and Single Target NP
Offensive Noble Phantasms are further categorized into AoE and Single Target types. AoE Noble Phantasms damage all enemies at once and are commonly used for farming, while Single Target Noble Phantasms deal higher damage to one enemy and are more effective against bosses.
Overcharge (OC) Effects and How to Use Them
Note: The following section is geared toward mid- to late-game players.
Certain Effects Are Enhanced
Some Noble Phantasm effects become stronger through Overcharge. Effects marked with
receive additional benefits, with Overcharge increasing up to a maximum of 5 stages.
Charge NP to 200% or 300%

Overcharge activates when a Noble Phantasm is used with NP charged beyond 100%. Charging NP to 200% or 300% increases the Overcharge stage, strengthening effects that scale with Overcharge.
NP Cap by Noble Phantasm Level
| NP Level | NP Cap |
|---|---|
| NP Lv1 | 100% NP Cap |
| NP Lv2–4 | 200% NP Cap |
| NP Lv5 | 300% NP Cap |
Chain Noble Phantasms

Using multiple Noble Phantasms in the same chain increases the Overcharge stage of subsequent Noble Phantasms. Noble Phantasms used later in the chain receive higher Overcharge levels even without additional NP charge.
Order and OC Bonus
| Card Order | OC Bonus |
|---|---|
| 1st Card | None |
| 2nd Card | +100% |
| 3rd Card | +200% |
Activated with OC Buffing Effects

Certain Craft Essences, Skills, and Noble Phantasm effects increase Overcharge stages directly, allowing enhanced Noble Phantasm effects without requiring additional NP beyond 100%.
