This is a beginner-friendly guide to Bedivere in Fate/Grand Order (English). It breaks down what makes Bedivere strong, his basic stats, skills, and Noble Phantasm, plus the Ascension and skill-up materials you'll need to raise them.

Bedivere's Strengths

A High-Damage Single-Target Attacker

Bedivere has a Noble Phantasm that applies a 1-turn Buster Effectiveness Up buff before dealing damage. This buff scales with Overcharge, and along with his Skill 1's NP Strength Up buff, allows him to deal high damage. This makes him a good attacker for farming and boss battles despite his 3-star rarity.

High Overcharge Scaling Multipliers

The Buster Effectiveness Up buff from Bedivere's Noble Phantasm has very high scaling, ranging from 30% to 90%. It is recommended to place his Noble Phantasm after other NPs in an NP chain to increase its Overcharge level and maximize the effect.

Difficult to Increase His Noble Phantasm Level

While Bedivere is a free Servant that all players can obtain after clearing Part 1 Chapter 6 (Camelot), his status as a Story-locked unit means copies for NP leveling can normally only be obtained through the Story Summon or when he's a rate-up unit on other banners. This makes it very difficult to obtain copies to raise his NP level, despite his 3-star rarity.

Tip!	It is not recommended to spend Saint Quartz or Summon Tickets on the Story Summon gacha. Aim for limited banners where he is a rate-up instead if you wish to increase his NP level.

Has a 30% NP Self-Battery

Calm and Collected B	Increase NP Gauge & Mental Debuff Resist [Lv. 1] (3 turns) for yourself

Bedivere's Skill 2 provides a 30% NP self-charge that is not affected by its skill level. This means you can leave this skill at Level 1 and use a starting NP Craft Essence and/or support Servants with NP batteries to help him use his Noble Phantasm early.

Excellent Teamwide NP Damage Buff Utility

After its Rank Up, Bedivere's Skill 1 provides a teamwide 3-turn NP Strength Up buff. Compared to other offensive supports, Servants that can provide a partywide NP Strength Up buff are rare, which makes Bedivere a great budget-friendly support.

Can Be Used as an NP Gain Support

At Skill Level 10, Bedivere's Skill 1 also provides a teamwide NP Gain Up buff of 30%. This allows him to function as an NP Gain support, helping AoE attackers to loop their NPs more efficiently.

	Morgan (★5) With up to 50% NP charge, she is a versatile pick for farming. Her ATK buff and ability to raise allies' Overcharge levels significantly boost Bedivere's NP damage.
	Altria Pendragon (★5) In addition to up to a 30% NP charge, her NP has a 20% refund effect. She can also provide a party-wide ATK buff, contributing as a damage-boosting sub-support.
	Senji Muramasa (★5) With up to 50% NP charge, he is easy to field for farming. Bedivere’s NP Gain buff makes it easier for Muramasa to loop his NP repeatedly.
	Chen Gong (★2) A high-damage NP that sacrifices an ally, useful for farming even against neutral classes. Bedivere's NP Gain buff facilitates Chen Gong's NP spam, while Chen Gong's high-multiplier Buster buff boosts Bedivere's damage in return.
Compatible Supporters
	Oberon (★5) With up to a 70% NP charge, he makes it very easy to fire off NPs. His high-multiplier Buster buff and NP Strength boost greatly increase Bedivere’s damage output.
	Koyanskaya of Light (★5) Provides up to a 50% NP charge. Her high-multiplier Buster buff is a perfect fit for boosting Bedivere's damage.
	Merlin (★5) Provides up to a 20% NP charge. His ATK buff and high-multiplier Buster buff significantly boost Bedivere's damage. His party-wide Invincibility and continuous HP recovery allow him to excel in both farming and high-difficulty content.
	Altria Caster (★5) Can support the party with a 50% NP charge and ATK buffs. Her NP Gain and Arts buffs also aid NP generation, and her NP's Anti-Purge Defense protects the entire team.
	Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II) (★5) On top of a 50% NP charge, he can grant ATK Up buffs which Bedivere desires for his NP.
	William Shakespeare (★2) A budget supporter who provides a 20% NP charge and a Buster buff. Highly recommended when you are limited by roster options or team cost.
	Mash Kyrielight (★3-★4) She provides Target Focus (Taunt), DEF buffs, and Invincibility to protect Bedivere. Stacking her DEF buffs with Bedivere's own allows the party to significantly reduce incoming damage.

Recommended Skill Leveling by Priority

Skill 1	Priority: ★★★ You can boost the multipliers of AoE NP Strength up + NP Gain Up for all allies. It boosts damage and makes NP gain easier. Since the other skills are also lower priority, level it first.
Skill 2	Priority: ★☆☆ The NP charge is fixed at 30%, but you can boost the mental debuff resist up multiplier. It makes you less likely to suffer mental debuffs, so leveling it can be useful in clears, but its priority is low.
Skill 3	Priority: ★☆☆ You can boost the status effect resist up multiplier. It makes you less likely to suffer debuffs, so leveling it can be useful in clears, but its priority is low.
