Cú Chulainn (Caster)'s Strengths

Suitable for Farming

By combining the 30% NP charge from Skill 1 and the 80% from Skill 3, he can charge his NP gauge by over 100%. Since he can fully charge his NP with his own skills, he excels at farming even without needing Craft Essences that provide starting NP gauge.

Skill 3 Upgrade Requires Clearing Part 2 Chapter 6 Section 19

While he is a Servant obtainable by clearing the Fuyuki chapter, his Skill 3 upgrade is locked behind Part 2, Chapter 6, Section 19. As it takes a significant amount of time for new players to reach this point in the story, they should be aware that the 80% NP charge will be unavailable for a while.

Editor	Without the 80% NP charge and Attack Up from his upgraded skill, his performance is underwhelming. It's advisable to wait until after clearing LB6 before fully investing in him.

Easy to NP Loop

With over 100% total NP charge from his skills, he can easily use his Noble Phantasm on two consecutive turns, depending on the equipped Craft Essence and support Servants. Since his personal damage output is modest, he is best suited for clearing early waves (Wave 1 or 2) or being paired with damage-boosting supports.

Modest Firepower at NP1

As a Story-Locked Servant, it is difficult to raise his NP level. Additionally, being a Caster, he has a 0.9x class damage modifier, which makes it inherently difficult for Servants of this class to deal high damage.

Tip!	He is occasionally featured on rate-up banners during limited-time events. If you want to increase his NP level, it's recommended to summon for him then.

Skill 3 NP Charge is Delayed

The 80% NP charge from his Skill 3 is not applied immediately, but rather on the following turn. This means he cannot use his NP on the first turn of a battle using only his own skills.

Excellent NP Buffs and Debuffs

His Noble Phantasm applies a 3-turn Buster Performance Up buff to himself and a 3-turn Defense Down debuff to all enemies. Since both effects last for three turns, they boost the damage of subsequent attacks and potential follow-up NPs.

Possesses an Excellent Evasion Skill

His Skill 2 provides a 3-hit Evasion, a powerful defensive tool that only disappears after he is attacked 3 times, regardless of how many turns pass. This allows him to easily survive powerful attacks, making him a valuable asset in challenging quests where survivability is key.

High Debuff Resistance

His Skill 1 provides a Debuff Resistance buff, while his Skill 3 can remove debuffs. This makes him highly resistant to enemy debuffs, and even if one lands, he can cleanse it before using his NP, ensuring consistent performance.

High Critical Damage Potential

He has a powerful Critical Strength buff, allowing him to deal significant damage with critical hits if he has access to C. Stars. However, he lacks a reliable way to generate C. Stars himself, so he requires support from Servants or Craft Essences that can provide them or increase his C. Star Gather Rate.

	Koyanskaya of Light (★5) Provides support through a 50% NP charge, skill cooldown reduction, and a Buster buff. A "Double " system allows for three consecutive NPs, making her an especially excellent partner for farming.
	Oberon (★5) Provides a 70% NP charge, NP Strength buffs, and a Buster buff. While primarily a supporter for NP spamming, Oberon himself can also function as an attacker in certain setups.
	Merlin (★5) Provides a party-wide NP charge and grants ATK buffs with a high-multiplier Buster buff to significantly boost damage. His party-wide Invincibility, as well as the NP charge and Critical Star generation from his NP, make him a great fit for both farming and high-difficulty content.
	Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II) (★5) Provides up to 50% NP charge along with AoE ATK buffs. He is highly recommended when aiming to fire two NPs in a row during farming.
	William Shakespeare (★2) A budget-friendly supporter who can grant a 20% NP charge and an AoE Buster buff through his skills. Recommended when you are limited by roster options or team cost while building farming teams.
	Mash Kyrielight (★3-★4) She possesses Target Focus (Taunt), DEF buffs, and Invincibility on her skills, supplemented by further DEF buffs on her NP. She performs exceptionally well in high-difficulty content by ensuring party survival.

Recommended Skill Leveling by Priority

Skill 1	Priority: ★★★ At Lv10 the NP charge becomes 30%. You can also boost the Critical Strength up multiplier, making critical damage easier. It makes activating the NP easier, so level it first.
Skill 2	Priority: ★☆☆ You can boost the DEF Up multiplier. It works even unleveled, but the skill cooldown reduction from leveling makes reusing the DEF Up or Evade (3 hits) easier. If you use it in clears, level it up.
Skill 3	Priority: ★★☆ The Guts NP charge is fixed at 80%, but since it boosts damage, prioritize leveling it. You can also boost the HP recovery and Guts recovery amounts, improving survivability.
