This is a beginner-friendly guide to Arash in Fate/Grand Order (English). It breaks down what makes Arash strong, his basic stats, skills, and Noble Phantasm, plus the Ascension and skill-up materials you'll need to raise them.

Arash's Strengths

A High-Damage Low-Rarity Attacker

Despite being a 1-star Servant, Arash's Noble Phantasm deals high AoE damage, comparable to that of a 5-star Servant without a Trait advantage. It's also very easy to max out his NP level, as he is obtainable from the Friend Point Summon.

Damage Increases with Higher Overcharge (OC) Levels

While his default NP damage is already massive, it can be increased even further by raising his Overcharge (OC) level. This can be done by charging his NP gauge past 200% or by placing his Noble Phantasm after others in an NP chain.

His Noble Phantasm Inflicts Death on Himself

* With his new Animation Update, Arash now disappears after using his NP and no longer has a death animation.

In exchange for its high damage, Arash's Noble Phantasm inflicts a self-inflicted Death demerit. However, this has the mechanical advantage of automatically bringing the next party member onto the field. This acts as a pseudo-Order Change, swapping a Servant from the backline to the frontline.

Tip!	His primary role in typical farming teams is to clear the first wave of enemies. His subsequent death then allows you to bring in attackers or supports needed for the remaining waves.

Arrow Construction A	- Increase NP Gauge by 30% - Restore 3000 HP (Self) - Cooldown (CD): 6 turns

Arash's 3rd Skill is obtained after completing his Rank Up Quest. This is a 30% NP self-charge skill, which gives him easier access to his Noble Phantasm. It also allows him to work well with Craft Essences that provide a starting NP gauge, as he will need minimal support to charge the rest of it.

Append Skill 2 Helps for His NP Charge Needs

A maxed (Lv10) Append Skill 2 will give him a 20% starting NP charge. This makes it so he can use his Noble Phantasm with a 50% NP CE and his Skill 3. Additionally, Arash's Servant Coins are easy to obtain from FP Summon so it'll be easy to unlock this Skill for him.

Low Base Stats

Like all low-rarity Servants, Arash's base stats are naturally low. Because of this, it's recommended to level him to his maximum level and use Fou cards to further increase his stats.

Tip!	Arash's high utility and damage make him a good candidate for further investment using 4-star Fous and even Holy Grails.

Compatible Supporters
	Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II) (★5) A versatile support who can handle many situations. In particular, his AoE 20% NP charge pairs perfectly with Arash, making 3-turn farming setups very easy to achieve.
	Oberon (★5) Provides a massive 70% NP charge. His high-multiplier NP Strength buff and Buster buff greatly increase Arash's damage. Since Arash is removed from the field by his own NP effect, Oberon's "Eternal Slumber" demerit is not a concern.
	Merlin (★5) A support who provides a party-wide NP charge. He can also provide a very high-multiplier Buster buff, making him highly recommended when you have a Buster-focused attacker waiting in the backline to swap in after Arash.
	Altria Caster (★5) A support who can provide a 30% AoE NP charge and a 20% single-target NP charge. This pairing is recommended when you are running an Arts-focused attacker in the backline.
	Chloe von Einzbern (Avenger) (★4) While it requires three enemies to appear in Waves 1 or 2, you can aim to fire Arash's NP multiple times by utilizing Summer Chloe's Guts, NP charge, and her unique pseudo-Order Change mechanic.
	William Shakespeare (★2) An excellent low-rarity support who can grant a single-target 20% NP charge even at base skill levels, along with a useful Buster buff for Arash's NP.

Recommended Skill Leveling by Priority

Skill 1	Priority: ★☆☆ You can boost the multipliers of DEF Up and poison resist up. It improves survivability, but since Arash is rarely used outside farming, leaving it unleveled is generally fine.
Skill 2	Priority: ★☆☆ You can boost the star drop rate up multiplier. If you don't fight with a critical-based style the benefit is small, so leaving it unleveled is generally fine.
Skill 3	Priority: ★★★ At Lv10 the NP charge becomes 30%, and leveling also boosts the HP recovery amount. It makes activating the NP easier, so level it first.
