Gaius Julius Caesar's Strengths

A High-Damage Single-Target Saber

Caesar's Noble Phantasm can grant him up to five ATK Up buffs, each with a high chance of activating. If all of them trigger, his NP damage increases drastically.

Pair with Buff Success Rate Up Support

The activation chance of the ATK Up buffs from Caesar's NP can be increased by Buff Success Rate Up effects from other Servants or Craft Essences, potentially reaching a guaranteed 100% success rate. See the table below for Servants who can support Caesar in this way:

Success Rate Increases the Lower the HP

Caesar's Noble Phantasm first applies a Buff Success Rate Up effect on himself, which becomes stronger as his HP gets lower. This effect is applied before the activation chance for the ATK Up buffs is checked. While this makes it easier to trigger the buffs after taking damage, relying on this mechanic is risky as it can lead to him being knocked out.

Caesar's first and second skills provide party-wide NP Strength Up and ATK Up buffs, while his third skill grants a targetable Critical Strength Up and C. Star Drop Rate Up. Since these buffs also increase his own damage, you can use the 3-turn ATK Up buff early on, while saving the 1-turn NP Strength buff for the final wave. This flexibility is useful whether he's your main or secondary attacker.

NP Strength Up Buff Lasts Only for 1 Turn

The NP Strength Up buff from Caesar's Skill 1 only lasts for 1 turn. Single turn buffs are usually used on the final wave or when the team needs to deal higher damage. For example, 90++ farming nodes might have a Wave 2 with a single high-HP enemy where using the buff would help greatly.

In addition to providing ATK Up buffs, Caesar's Noble Phantasm also generates a flat amount of Critical Stars. The number of stars generated increases with his Overcharge level. Combined with the ATK buffs from his NP and the Critical Strength buff from his third skill, Caesar can follow up his NP with powerful critical attacks.

	Scáthach-Skadi (★5) Her high-multiplier Quick buff and Quick Critical Strength buff have great synergy with Caesar. Her 50% NP charge makes it easier to spam NPs, and her AoE DEF down boosts damage as well.
	Summer Scáthach-Skadi (★5) In addition to a high-multiplier Quick buff, her 50% NP charge makes it easier to fire NPs repeatedly. Along with Star support, she provides a Buster buff and Buster Critical Strength up, allowing Caesar—who has two Buster cards—to make effective use of critical hits.
	Prince of Lan Ling (★4) A Saber who grants Buff Success Rate up, ensuring Caesar's chance-based buffs land. He also provides an NP charge effect and can grant guaranteed party-wide ATK up as well as chance-based Star Generation and Critical Strength buffs.
	Lakshmi Bai (★4) A Saber who provides a Buff Success Rate up. Similar to the Prince of Lan Ling, she can grant guaranteed party-wide ATK up along with chance-based Star Drop Rate and Critical Strength buffs.
	Calamity Jane (★4) She provides Buff Success Rate up. She can grant a chance-based party-wide ATK up and NP charge, plus various utility effects that scale based on the number of Critical Stars currently held.
	Miyu Edelfelt (★4) She grants Buff Success Rate up. In addition to ensuring Caesar's buffs land, she also possesses a skill that provides up to a 30% NP charge to a single ally.
	Hans Christian Andersen (★2) His skill providing up to 40% Critical Strength up is highly effective even at low levels. He also gains a reliable Critical Star generation skill upon reaching his third Ascension.
