Paul Bunyan's Strengths

Extremely Short NP Animation

Bunyan's NP animation is extremely short, lasting about 2.5 seconds. As of August 2020, it's the fastest NP animation in the game, which can significantly reduce farming time when repeating quests.

Guide Team	You might not feel much benefit for just 1-2 runs, but it's a huge time-saver when repeating dozens or hundreds of times. "Every little bit helps."

Good for Ally Damage Support

Her first skill grants the entire party Buster Performance Up and Critical Strength Up for 3 turns, while her third skill applies DEF Down to all enemies for 3 turns. These skills are excellent for clearing Wave 1 while also supporting her allies' damage output.

Healing Effectiveness Down is Just a Bonus

Skill 3 also applies Healing Effectiveness Down to all enemies for 5 turns. While the 50% reduction is significant, this effect is rarely useful in farming scenarios. Even in high-difficulty quests, the need to prevent enemy healing is uncommon, so it should be considered a minor bonus.

Extremely Low Durability

As a 1-star Berserker, Bunyan has low stats, making her extremely fragile. Since her only defensive utility is HP recovery, be aware that she can be easily defeated by critical hits or even normal attacks.

Unlock the Acquisition Event via the Rare Prism Shop

To obtain Paul Bunyan, you must first unlock the "All the Statesmen!" event in the Rare Prism Shop. Once unlocked, the event will appear in the Chaldea Gate. Complete the event quests to recruit her.

Free to Get After Clearing Part 1, Chapter 5

You can unlock "All the Statesmen!" for free by clearing Main Story Part 1, Chapter 5. Since Rare Prisms are a highly valuable resource, it's recommended to clear Chapter 5 first before using them to unlock the event.

	Morgan (★5) With a 30% self NP charge plus a targetable 20% NP charge, she fires her NP easily, and her ATK up also boosts Paul Bunyan's damage. Since Morgan lacks her own Buster buffs, Paul Bunyan's Buster buff increases her damage efficiently.
	Arjuna (Alter) (★5) He deals extra damage to debuffed enemies, so he pairs perfectly with Paul Bunyan's DEF down. He also has Star Concentration on his Buster cards, allowing him to land critical hits even with a low number of Critical Stars.
	Koyanskaya of Dark (★5) She has an AoE 30% NP charge, making her very useful for farming. In addition to a Buster buff, Paul Bunyan receives an ATK up from her because she possesses the [Wild Beast] trait (via her "Mad Bunny" skill), further boosting damage.
	Eric Bloodaxe (★2) Like Paul Bunyan, he is a low-rarity Berserker suited for farming and has an exceptionally short NP animation.
	Arash (★1) His NP animation is short, and his NP effect allows him to exit the field immediately. With his 30% NP charge, it is easy to focus other NP support resources specifically on Paul Bunyan.
Compatible Supporters
	Zhuge Liang (Lord El-Melloi II) (★5) He has abundant NP charge options, providing great synergy for farming. His ATK up and NP Strength up significantly boost Paul Bunyan's damage output.
	Merlin (★5) He can provide a high-multiplier Buster buff and a Critical Strength up. While his damage support is top-tier, his immediate NP charge support is slightly lower, so you may want to compensate with Craft Essences or additional supporters.
	Cnoc na Riabh Yaraandoo (★4) She can act as a sub-attacker while providing damage and NP support; combined with Bunyan's ATK up, the two can increase each other's damage. Since Cnoc na Riabh Yaraandoo has Arts/Skill Seal demerits, you must be careful with the skill order. Because Bunyan has no Magic Resistance, the [Queen's Honey] buff applies reliably.
	William Shakespeare (★2) He can provide a 20% NP charge and an AoE Buster buff. Since he also possesses a Buster AoE NP, he can also serve as an additional attacker during farming.

Skill 1	Priority: ★★★ You can greatly boost the multipliers of Buster Up and Critical Strength up for all allies. Since it boosts damage, level it first.
Skill 2	Priority: ★☆☆ You can boost the AoE HP recovery multiplier. If you don't use it in clears leaving it unleveled is fine, but if leveled it improves survivability.
Skill 3	Priority: ★★★ You can boost the multipliers of DEF Down + HP recovery amount down for all enemies. Since it boosts damage, prioritize leveling it.
