Sakata Kintoki (Rider)'s Strengths

A High-Damage Attacker with a 50% NP Charge

With a 50% NP self-charge skill, Sakata Kintoki (Rider) can easily use his Noble Phantasm without external support if he's equipped with a 50% starting NP Craft Essence. Since he is obtainable from the Leaves of Evocation shop, his NP Level can be maxed out, making him a powerful Single-Target Rider with amazing NP damage output.

Great for High-Difficulty Free Quests and Raid Events

Thanks to his 50% NP charge, he can easily equip offensive Craft Essences like "The Black Grail" or event-specific damage-up CEs. He is most effective in high-difficulty free quests and raid events against solo bosses with massive HP pools.

Skill 1 Provides a 3-Turn Quick Buff

Sakata Kintoki (Rider)'s Skill 1 provides a Quick Effectiveness Up buff that lasts for 3 turns. This allows him to deal more damage and generate more Stars with his two Quick cards and NP. However, this is the only offensive buff in his kit, so it's recommended to support him with Servants that can provide ATK Up or NP Strength Up buffs.

Noble Phantasm Applies an OC-Scaling Quick Buff

Before dealing damage, his Noble Phantasm applies an Overcharge-scaling Quick Effectiveness Up buff to himself. Because of this, it's recommended to place him later in an NP chain or use Overcharge Level Up buffs on him, as this can boost the Quick buff from 20% to 60%.

Aim for Quick Card Follow-Up Attacks Post-NP

The Quick Effectiveness Up buff from his Noble Phantasm lasts for the entire turn. This allows for him to use his Quick cards to deal more damage if the NP isn't used in a 3-NP chain.

Can Easily Land Critical Attacks

With the Rider class's naturally high C. Star Gather Rate and his Skill 1's C. Star Drop Rate Up, Sakata Kintoki (Rider) can easily generate Stars and use them to perform critical attacks. However, he lacks a Critical Strength Up buff, so it's best to provide one through supports or Craft Essences.

Lacks Defensive Abilities Outside of Flat HP Recovery

Sakata Kintoki (Rider) lacks proper defensive self-buffs aside from the direct HP recovery on his Skill 3. In high-difficulty battles, he will struggle to survive without dedicated supports to provide defensive buffs.

	Alexander (★3) His Quick, ATK, and Critical Strength buffs are all highly compatible with Kintoki.

	Scáthach-Skadi (Ruler) (★5) She can charge an ally's NP by 50% and provide high-multiplier Quick and ATK buffs. Since Kintoki has two Buster cards, he can easily make use of her Buster Critical Strength buff.

Skill 1	Priority: ★★☆ You can boost the multipliers of Quick Up and star drop rate up. It boosts damage and makes criticals easier, so level them together.
Skill 2	Priority: ★★★ At Lv10 the NP charge becomes 50%. It makes activating the NP easier, so level it first.
Skill 3	Priority: ★☆☆ It increases the multipliers of your own attack debuff resist and HP recovery. It's not needed for farming, but if leveled, the attack debuff can be useful in high-difficulty quests and it makes surviving easier.
