Table of Contents

Servant Leveling Elements and Priority

Servant Leveling and Ascensions

Servant Leveling

The most important way to improve your Servant's combat power is to level them up and perform Ascensions. A Servant can be Ascended up to 4 times to increase their level cap.

Skills Will Unlock From Ascensions

Ascension Unlock Skills

The 1st and 3rd Ascensions will also unlock the Servant's skills. Having all three skills available allows you to fully utilize the Servant's capabilities. (Note that some Servants need to clear a Rank Up Quest or Interlude after reaching their Final Ascension to unlock skills.)

Tip!Generally, it is recommended to aim for a Servant's 3rd Ascension before proceeding to other aspects!

Palingenesis to Further Unlock the Level Cap

Palingenesis

Once a Servant has reached their Final Ascension and hit the maximum level, Palingenesis (Grailing) becomes available. By using Holy Grails, QP, and Servant Coins, you can increase a Servant's level cap to Level 120. However, raising levels that high requires a large amount of Embers and QP, so it's recommended to only consider this after sufficiently leveling other aspects of the Servant.

TipTip!Servant Coins are needed if you want to level the Servant beyond Level 100.

Noble Phantasm (NP) Leveling

NP Leveling

Using duplicate Servants increases their Noble Phantasm (NP) level. While there are various benefits to increasing NP levels, it is a particularly crucial enhancement for main damage-dealing Servants (DPS or Attackers) who shine in farming and boss battles, as offensive NPs receive a direct boost to their damage multipliers.

TipTip!You can tell which effects will be boosted by leveling up the NP by looking for the [Lv.1] notation in the Noble Phantasm's description text.

NP Gauge Increased With NP Levels

The maximum NP gauge increases with the NP Level. NP Levels 2 to 4 increase the maximum gauge to 200%, while NP Level 5 increases it to 300%. Using an NP at 200%/300% will cast it in an Overcharge (OC) state, which can grant bonuses if there's an "Increase with Overcharge" effect in the NP's description.

How to Raise NP Levels

Clearing Rank Up & Interlude Quests

Rank Up & Interlude Quests

Servants can have Rank Up Quests and Interludes that provide buffs to enhance their skills or Noble Phantasm. Some of these buffs can include NP Charge effects or Special Attack modifiers that can greatly boost their performance.

Quests Have Unlock Requirements

Rank Up Quests and Interludes have specific conditions needed to unlock them. Rank Up Quests require the Servant to reach their Final Ascension, while Interludes can have an Ascension stage, Bond level, or Main Story progression as part of their conditions. It's recommended to meet these conditions if a powerful buff is locked behind one of these quests.

TipTip!You can check the unlock requirements for Interludes by going to "Chaldea Gate" and selecting the "Interlude" tab.

Skill Leveling

Skill Leveling

Leveling up a Servant's skills will boost the potency of their effects. Additionally, when a skill reaches Level 6 and Level 10, its cooldown (CD) is reduced by one turn. Leveling skills requires a lot of materials and QP, so it's best to start leveling them up when you have a steady supply of resources.

TipTip!Just like with Noble Phantasms, you can identify which skill effects will scale with level by looking for the [Lv.1] notation in the skill's description.

Prioritize NP Battery and Damage Buffs

Prioritize skills that increase the NP gauge (NP Battery skills) and provide damage buffs. Aside from those, skills that grant Invincibility or Evasion are also good to level up, as they are often crucial for surviving high-damage attacks in boss battles.

TipTip!Skill Lv5 is a great stopping point. The QP and material costs spike significantly from Lv6 to 10, so focusing on other aspects after Lv5 is recommended.

Increasing Stats with Fou Cards

Stats Up with Fou Cards

You can increase the ATK/HP stats of Servants by 1000/2000 using Status Up (Fou) Cards. 1★ to 3★ Fou cards can raise stats by up to +1,000, while 4★ Fou cards (Gold Fous) can push that limit up to +2,000. This is a good way to increase the damage dealt by enhancing the base stats directly.

Unlock and Enhance Append Skills

Append Skill

Append Skills are passive abilities that are always active once unlocked using Servant Coins. After unlocking them, you can level up these skills just like regular Skills by consuming materials and QP to increase the potency of their effects.

Append Skills' Types and Effects

Skill 1
(Universal)
Skill 1 AppendExtra Attack Finesse Improvement
Increases own Extra Attack card performance by 30%–50%.
Skill 2
(Universal)
Skill 2 AppendMana Loading
Start battle with own NP gauge charged by 10%–20%.
Skill 3
(for Non-Berserkers)
Skill 3 AppendAnti-[Specific Class] Attack Aptitude
Increases own Attack Power against a [Specific Class] by 20%–30%.
Skill 3
(for Berserkers)
Berserker Skill 3 AppendCritical Resilience
Increases own Critical Damage Resistance against a [Specific Class] by 20%–30%.

Servants possess three types of Append Skills. In particular, Mana Loading is the best Append Skill to unlock first since it allows you to start battles with a partially charged NP gauge. Especially for certain NP looping team comps, Mana Loading is essential.

Class Score System (Late Game)

Class Score System

Class Score is a Servant enhancement system that is unlocked once you clear the Ordeal Call Prologue. There are nine (9) Class Score boards that correspond to the 7 standard Classes and two boards for the Extra Classes. By unlocking the nodes (Signs), you can grant various buffs to all Servants belonging to the specific Class.

TipTip!Since Ordeal Call Prologue happens after Part 2 Chapter 7, it's considered late game content because it takes a while to reach this point in the story due to the high difficulty battles found in previous story chapters.

Command Code Engraving

Command Code Engraving

By using a Code Opener in the 'Command Code Engraving' menu, you can engrave a Command Code onto a Servant's Command Card to grant it additional effects. In combat, when attacking with an engraved Command Card, it will trigger the effects of the Command Code.

Command Card and Chains Guide
TipTip!Code Openers can be obtained through Mana Prism Exchange in the Shop. Command Codes are obtainable through Mana/Rare Prism Exchange, the Friend Point Summon, and limited-time events.

Command Card Enhancement

Command Card Enhancement

In Command Card Enhancement, you can strengthen the ATK of Command Cards using Beast's Footprints. Each of a Servant's Command Cards can be enhanced individually up to a maximum of +500 ATK. However, this process requires a lot of QP, so it's recommended to do this after all other leveling elements.

Ways to Enhance Craft Essences (CE)

How to Efficiently Level Up CEs

  1. Requires a large amount of Friend Points (FP)
  2. Prepare many Craft Essences at approximately Lv. 20.
→ About 130 of these will be needed to reach Lv. 100.
  3. Combine Lv. 20 CEs to create Lv. 50 CEs.
→ Using around 16 Lv. 20 CEs will result in a Lv. 50 CE.
  4. Feed 8 of the Lv. 50 CEs into the Craft Essence you want to level to 100.

You Will Need a Lot of Friend Points (FP)

To efficiently create a Lv. 100 Craft Essence, you will need a massive number of Craft Essences to use as materials. Since collecting material Craft Essences is most efficient through the Friend Point Summon, you should gather Friend Points by borrowing Servants from others or increasing your number of Friends and Followers.

Enhancing During Success Rate Up Campaigns

There are limited-time campaigns that offer increased Enhancement Success Rates, so it's recommended to perform enhancements during these periods. These campaigns are often held during download milestones or anniversaries.

Prepare Many Lv. 20 Craft Essences

Use CEs obtained from the FP Summon to create many low-rarity CEs at Lv. 20. You will need about 130 of these Lv. 20 CEs as fodder. Since creating these requires a lot of Friend Points, it's recommended to gradually make them using daily free FP summons and also use EXP CEs from events.

Do Limit Breaks While Leveling Up

The initial level cap for a 1★ Craft Essence is Lv. 10, meaning it cannot be enhanced to Lv. 20 or Lv. 50 in its base state. Since you will likely acquire many copies of the same CE from the Friend Point Summon, ensure you use identical CEs as materials to perform a Limit Break and raise the level cap.

Combine Lv. 20 CEs to Create Lv. 50 CEs

Combine about 16 of the Lv. 20 fodder CEs from the previous step to create one Lv. 50 fodder CE. Once you have eight (8) of these Lv. 50 fodder CEs, you will have enough to get a Craft Essence to Lv. 100.

Create a Lv. 100 CE Using the Lv. 50 CEs

Feed the eight Lv. 50 fodder CEs into the chosen 5★ Craft Essence you wish to max out. Be aware that the 5★ Craft Essence must be at Maximum Limit Break (MLB) to reach Lv. 100.
