An update doubled the Effective Damage Range to 30.5 meters, making it a lot easier to use. The TTK at 324 ms isn't that fast compared to other Assault Rifles, but you can get a 5 shot kill no matter where you hit the target within the Effective Damage Range so this weapon is recommended for beginners.
This build makes up for the disadvantage of this weapon which is the slightly strong recoil and low mobility while maintaining its range. The attachments do make the weapon better balanced overall, but none of the stats are exceptional including the TTK so try to make use of the extended range and keep some distance from the enemy.
