Ranked Play is a highly competitive multiplayer mode that follows the rules and restrictions of Call of Duty League. With a visible skill rating, you can track your progress and earn rewards across various Skill Divisions and Tiers. The Top 250 Leaderboard and Division will feature the best players.
This feature was expected to be available immediately after the Season 1 Reloaded update, but is reportedly in preparation. It is not yet known when it will be available.

In this mode, a single player will spawn with the one-shot Ray Gun. The player who successfully eliminates the Operator carrying the Ray Gun will become the new owner. The Vortex mode takes place on three remixed Multiplayer maps: Satan’s Quarry, Sporeyard, and Tetanus.

Gunfight is a mode where two teams of two players against one another in a round-based match. There are no respawns, and at the start of each round, all players are assigned a randomized Loadout that changes every two rounds.
Teams battle each other for 40 seconds per round, trying to eliminate each other. If time runs out, an Overtime Flag appears for 10 seconds. Winning requires capturing the flag, eliminating the enemy team, or having more health during Overtime. The first team to win six rounds wins the match. In order to win the match, the team must win six rounds.
At launch, there will be five maps available.

These otherworldly labyrinths are located inside the Dark Aether, where players and their squad have a limited time to complete a series of increasingly chaotic objectives to earn exceptional rewards. Find Sigils to enter the Dark Aether Rifts and face a new level of challenge!
Dark Aether Rifts are unlocked by solving a hidden quest, which activates after completing the new Season 1 Story Mission.
Dark Aether Rifts are a new end-game experience to master once players have completed the Seasonal Mission. Operators must complete their objectives within a limited time and escape the Rifts with their lives (and sanity).

Consuming the new Golden Armor Plate replaces the Armor Carrier with Plates that automatically repair over time, in addition to providing the user additional damage resistances.
Aether Blade (Lethal)
The Aether Blade is a special Throwing Knife with infinite ammo and a boomerang-like combat style. After striking an enemy, the Aether Blade locates the next nearest enemy to hit before returning to its Operator.
