Clear The Convoy
You start the mission by ambushing a convoy looking for Makarov. Look inside one of the vehicles and you will find a prisoner, who turns out to be Shepherd.
Escort Shepherd
After the cutscene you will have to escort Shepherd safely. The fog will block your vision so use your thermal scope when you encounter the first squad.
Take Out The Sniper
Once you deal with the first squad, you will need to take out a sniper. He shouldn't be too hard to find but if you find him make sure to take him out, he will change his position once you engage him. You will want to take his rifle as it can be useful later.
Obtain Snow Angel Trophy
You can also earn a Bronze Trophy by executing the forest sniper with a takedown.

The rifle you got from the sniper will be useful if you picked it up earlier. Use it to take out the snipers here and the surrounding enemies.
Secure The Mill
Once you get to the Mill, take out the enemies surrounding the buildings to get inside. They will also be shooting from the roof but be careful not to hit Farah.
Go To The Upper Floor
Move up the stairs and eliminate the enemies. You will have to take out a swarm of enemies from the balcony so use the weapons and grenades behind you.
Secure The LZ
After regrouping with Farah, you will head to the LZ. You can pick up more weapons from the bodies on the way. There will be many enemies waiting at the Shipyard, so be ready.
Fight Off The Reinforcements
After getting through the first wave, Ghost will regroup and the final wave of enemies will appear. It will be a whole convoy and you won't have much cover, so make use of the smoke grenades and heavy weapons around you.
Board The Helicopter
Once the LZ is secure, Nikolai will land at your location so you can board the helicopter.
