Invite Friends To Party

Cod MW3 Play With Friends How To Create A Party

You can invite available online players in your Friends List to join you in a Party. Whether you're assembling a squad for competitive play or simply looking to have fun, including your friends in your Party is a guaranteed way to boost your gaming experience.

Cross Play Options

Similar with previous series, it is possible to cross play in MW3. On the other hand, you can use the Friend Filters to tailor your party exclusively for PlayStation Network or Activision players only.

Maximum Party Size Is 32

The Maximum party is 32 however the party size permitted to play might change depending on the playlist.

Party XP

You can also get additional XP for playing with friends or with other players when there's an available Party XP event in the playlist or game mode the Party Leader chooses.

Party Leader Settings

If you're the one who created the party, you will assume the role of the Party Leader by default. The Party Leader can select the map and game mode for the party. Additionally, you have the authority to remove or mute members from the party and transfer the Party Leader role to someone else.

Public Or Private Party

You can make your party either public or private in the Party Privacy to control who can join your game. Set your party Open if you want anyone to be able to join your party and game. To restrict party access, set your party to either Invite or Friends Only so that only players who have been invited by you or are in your group of friends can join your party.

Join A Party Instead

You can also join a party instead of creating one. If a friend has already hosted a party or if you'd like to join an existing Open Party, you can send a 'Join Party' request and wait till you get approved by the Party Leader.

What To Do When You Can't Join A Party

Check Your Internet Connection

Ensure your internet connection is stable so you won't experience any issues. A poor connection can prevent you from joining a party.

Verify Party Privacy Settings

If you can't join a particular party, it could be due to the settings applied to it. Consider checking the party's privacy settings to determine whether it's open to the public, set as invite-only, or restricted to friends only.

Coordinate With Party Leader Friend

Sometimes the initial connection attempt can fail so you can ask your friends to re-invite you to the party or try to send a request to join again.

Check NAT Settings

Also, you can check your Network Address Translation (NAT) type settings if its open. Consider adjusting your router settings to open up your NAT type.
