How To Find Mega Abomination

Mega Abomination Locations

Mega Abomination and Megabomb Location

Mega Abomination (Megabomb) appears randomly in the locations marked in the map above. If you don't see it in one of those locations, try going to another one.

Or Accept Bounty Contract In Red Zone

One alternative is to accept a Bounty Contract within the Red High Threat Zone, which may include a Mega Abomination as a big bounty. However, these contracts are random, so if the target is not the Mega Abomination, you can cancel the contract and repeat the process until you get the Mega Abomination Elimination Contract.

How To Beat Mega Abomination Solo

The following approach lets you take down the Red Zone boss solo, but it can get risky even when using the Juggernaut, so it's recommended only if you think you are skilled enough to take on this challenge alone. If you are quite new, try to invite friends and use the co-op strategy explained in ▼Second Method which is much safer.

Purchase Juggernaut In Advance

Purchase Juggernaut In Advance

First, collect 10,000 Essence by completing Contracts. Then, take a boat to the Red Zone to avoid encounters with enemies and find the nearest Buy Station accessible from the river.

Bring Decoy Grenades Along If Possible

Bring Decoy Grenades

If you have unlocked Decoy Grenades, it is recommended to carry them with you. In case you find yourself surrounded by zombies, you can throw a Decoy Grenade to distract them.

However, if you do not have any Decoy Grenades and are in danger of being surrounded by zombies, it is advisable to enter the river and wait for the threat to pass. Once you reach the opposite bank (Orange Zone), zombies that cannot enter the water will start moving in the other direction, so take that opportunity to purchase the Juggernaut.

If There Is No Buy Station Along The River

If there's no Buy Station by the river in the Red Zone, use a car to reach one that's easily accessible. If surrounded by zombies, either use the car to escape or use a Decoy Grenade to distract them temporarily.

Get A Car Before Accepting Contract

Escape to the Orange Zone and find a vehicle. Once you find one, set a waypoint toward the Eliminate Bounty Contract in the Red Zone. Drive to the location and accept the contract. Mark the target on the map and proceed towards it by car.

Get In The Car Til Juggernaut Drops

Use the Juggernaut, get in a car, and endure until the Care Package drops. Once Juggernaut is available, exit the car and shoot as many bullets as possible at the boss.

*The Juggernaut has a time limit, and depending on the boss, if you miss too many shots, you may be unable to defeat it, so be cautious.

Defeat Mega Abomination From A Roof Or In The River

Mega Abomination won't attack you if you are on a roof or in the river. Lure the Mega Abomination to a safe location and start attacking from there.

Be careful of the zombies. They will attack from a distance, throwing flesh at you. Always have your armor ready and avoid the zombie attacks while fighting the Mega Abomination.

How To Play Zombies Solo

How To Beat Mega Abomination In Co-op

This method requires upgrading weapons with Pack-a-Punch to level 3, although some players may be able to fare even with level 2 if they're confident. This may require some time, but with consistent teamwork, it can most likely be achieved.

Buy A Weapon In Red Zone

First, collect 5,000 Essence by completing contracts. Then, take a boat to the Red Zone to avoid encounters with enemies and purchase a weapon from a Wall Buy accessible from the river.

Bring Decoy Grenades Along If Possible

If you have unlocked Decoy Grenades, it is recommended to carry them with you. In case you find yourself surrounded by zombies, you can throw a Decoy Grenade to distract them.

Pack-a-Punch to Level 3

Upgrade your weapon to Level 3 (or Level 2 if you're experienced enough) by collecting Essence in the Orange Zone to purchase the Pack-a-Punch or using an Aetherium Crystal if you have one. Also, visit a Buy Station and get plenty of Armor Plates for safety.
