Where To Find Mimics In MW3?

To complete Frost Bite's Objective "Freeze 5 Mimics with Frost Blast Field Upgrade", it is recommended to go to the Infested Stronghold in Orange Middle Threat Zone, where at least one Mimic can be found.

It's important to note that ammo mods do not affect Mimics in the Bounty Contract, so they cannot be frozen. To complete Frost Bite, it's better to go to Orange Middle Threat Zone and search for Mimics in the Infested Strongholds.

Lure Mimics Out of Strongholds

When fighting a Mimic at Infested Strongholds, it's better to lure it out of the building to avoid its powerful attacks and increase the chance of winning.

Accepting Bounty Contracts Is The Easiest Method

If you're searching for Mimics for purposes other than Frost Bite, such as completing Camo Challenges, the easiest way to locate a Mimic is by accepting the Bounty Contract. This usually enables you to fight them in an open area rather than inside buildings like Strongholds.

Accept Bounty Contracts In White Zone

In the White Low Threat Zone, Bounty Contracts have two random types of targets: Mimic or Mangler. However, in the Orange Middle Threat Zone, there are three random types of targets: Mimic, Mangler, or Disciple. This means the probability of encountering a Mimic is higher in White Zone.

You Can Cancel The Contract If The Target Is Not A Mimic

When you discover that the target is not a Mimic, you can cancel the Bounty Contract and move on to the next one for efficiency.

Aether Nest Is Also An Option

Aether Nests are scattered throughout the mission area in MW Zombies, and there is a chance of encountering Mimics within them. It is recommended to equip a Gas Mask and search for them.

How To Freeze 5 Mimics with Frost Blast Field Upgrade

Charge Up Frost Blast In Advance

The timing to freeze a Mimic is crucial, so make sure to charge the Frost Blast Field Upgrade before arriving at Strongholds. This way, you can freeze a Mimic immediately upon encountering it.

Mimics are formidable foes, dealing high damage and requiring strategic defeat. Upgrade your weapons to the maximum level using Pack-A-Punch for safety.

Aim For The Mouth

Mimics' weak point is their glowing mouth. Concentrate your attacks on their mouth to deal effective damage.

Use Field Upgrades As Need

In case of an emergency, use Energy Mines or other Field Upgrades to immediately deal significant damage to a Mimic.
