Recommended Settings
The default keybinds are easy to understand and use but you should always try out different keybinds that fit your preference. Here are our recommended keybinds which we think are a little more competitive. The only changes from default are the Interact, Lethal Weapon and Melee.
Move Forward | W |
---|---|
Move Backward | S |
Move Left | A |
Move Right | D |
Walk | - |
Auto Move Forward | H |
Jump/Stand/Mantle | Space |
Prone/Dive | Ctrl |
Change Stance/Slide/Dive | - |
Crouch/Slide | C |
Sprint/Tactical Sprint/ Focus | Shift |
Interact | E (default: F) |
Reload | R |
Mount | T |
Tactical Stance | - |
Fire Mode | B |
Melee | F (default: V) |
Lethal Equipment | X (default: E) |
Tactical Equipment | Q |
Armor Plate/Drop Item | G |
This eliminates the problem of the Melee button being hard to reach. It needs to be most accessable since you're guaranteed to be in combat when you use it, and you also have to be ready to move instantly when your are interacting with something.
Try different settings
The keys that are most interchangable are F, E, Q, X, Z and they are easy to reach in that order, especially while moving. Try different combinations depending on your playstyle or game modes you prefer.
Prone
You can also use Z which isn't assigned at default, but it's easy to reach Control with your pinky while having your other fingers on W, A, D. You can assign it to Z or both depending on your preference. Again, you should try different keybinds to find what suits you best.
Best Mouse Settings
Mouse Sensitivity
Increase Sensitivity
Higher sensitivity allows for faster aiming and quicker reaction times especially during intense battles. With increased sensitivity, you can snap your crosshairs onto a target more swiftly and accurately. So you want to increase it if possible.
Try It Out First, Then Lower It To Your Liking
Play for a few rounds and then decide if you want to change it to a lower or higher setting. Play again for a few games, and repeat the process. Do this until you find the best sensitivity for your playstyle.
Turn Off The Custom Sensitivity Per Zoom
It's better to turn this feature off so that the sensitivity settings will remain consistent across different zoom levels, which can help maintain muscle memory and improve your overall aiming accuracy.
Check For DPI Settings
If your mouse has adjustable DPI settings, you can fine-tune your sensitivity on the fly, which can be especially helpful for sniping or close combat.
